It was a little complicated at first. It wouldn't be my first choice but it serves the purpose of why I am using it.

Didn't want a watch (HR) that needed a strap to work. Not convenient at all. So I sent the watch back.

I have only tried to use this a couple of times. I had a hard time getting it to read my heart rate. Both times I tried to use it I was in a hurry. Maybe if I took my time, I could get it to work properly.

I bought this fitness tracker to replace my Nike FuelBand. I was so dissatisfied with it that now it just sits in a drawer and I ended up buying the Apple Watch instead. It may be cheaper than some of the other nicer watches, bands and fitness trackers but it just doesn’t cut the cake. It's a bit hard to use in my opinion and it's not that easy to set up either. It’s just not worth the hassle or the money. If you have a little some extra to spend or treat yourself with, buy a nicer watch or fitness tracker.

I didn't like that you have to wear a band under your chest in addition to the watch in order for it to read. Wasn't comfortable especially when you are at work.

I've never been too fond of watches or fitness watches especially the ones that come with a chest strap but recently I've been losing weight and getting in shape and wanted to keep track of my calorie burn during exercise. I bought my first device fitbit surge a couple weeks ago and it was nice and counted steps but was WAY off target when it came to heart rate even when I wasn't exercising...so I made the decision to return it and did some research on heart rate monitors and came across the polar and read that a heart strap is more accurate. So I returned the $300 fitbit and bought the 60.99 polar plus 14.99 2 year warranty and I'm so glad I did. The chest strap is super comfortable as it sits right under my chest area and I sometimes I forgIt it's there. It does exactly what I want. Counts my heart rate ACCURATELY and gives me calories burned....I take that and log it into my nutrition app and I'm done. I take if off and store it in my gym bag and don't have to worry about it again until my next workout. Some fitness "experts" have argued that the numbers are inaccurate and these devices shouldn't be used for strenuous exercise but it works for me...so yep lol

    Good heart rate monitor

Good heart rate monitor, very easy to use and comfortable. One of my favorite things is that you could go to pretty much any gym and they will usually have treadmill that will automatically link to your wearlink. The only problem that I have was the price. This is my 3rd POLAR watch. The first one I had was the RS200 and something happened to the screen and parts were faded. I got a replacement watch RS100 and decided to buy this one as my third. My only suggestion to any buyer would be to SAVE YOUR RECEIPT because you have a warrantee that you can send to their repair shops but of course you need to proof that the watch was purchased within the year for the warrantee to be honored

I bought this because I was trying to get healthier this new year . It's easy to wear and can be adjusted just like a watch and no one will know your watching the calories your burning or how many steps your taking. I'm very happy with ths purchase. Don't be fooled buy the price it's a quality product and I would recommend it to friends & family. I'm so very happy with my Polar - FT4 Women's Heart Rate Monitor

Exactly what I was looking for

I'm new to heart rate monitors, so I had a lot of searching to do to figure out what I needed from one before I placed my order. I soon found that the Polar brand was the one to get, but they have hundreds of models, ranging from affordable to incredible. I know some will say this model doesn't have it all, but if you're looking for something to keep you informed of your progress in your exercise routine, this is really all you need. Tracking up to 10 sessions worth of data, but also keeping a running total, the watch can tell you how long you worked out, your average heart rate, maximum reached, and time in the zone, and from that, how many calories you burned. It beeps softly at you every 5 seconds or so when you're under the zone, and also tells you when you've exceeded your maximum. The display is really easy to read, even in the middle of vigorous training session. The watch in comfortable and easy to clean, as is the chest strap, which is fully adjustable. I have no complaints at all, and for the price, I'm extremely pleased. I only wish there was a way to download the training files from the watch to my computer, but a spreadsheet also works just fine.

The heart rate monitor only worked in conjunction with an actual chest strap. Not what I thought it would be so it was exchanged for a Garmin.

I purchased this monitor for my mother. It's great! It also comes with an elastic band so the monitor can provide a more accurate reading via the sternum. Great product indeed. Worth every penny!

One of my friends purchased this product and gave amazing reviews on it . Even after that , I still did my own research and read reviews online because I was a little weary of the price . Finally I just decided to bite the bullet and purchase it . I couldn't be more happy because I absolutely love it . I wear it to my gym classes and I'm amazed at the amount of calories I burn . If I forget this at home , I will turn around and go back for it or else I won't feel like I got a good workout . My best friend purchased this also at the same time I did and we both try to compete on who can burn the most calories . This monitor is worth the money and you won't regret it .

    It's so... pink.

I have heart issues, so keeping track of my heart rate while I exercise is über-important. It takes a little more effort than on-demand watches without a chest-strap, but I've found that it's far more accurate than others I've used. I love that it gives me the details of my workout after I'm done. My BodyMedia armband does that, too, but hey: technology! The solitary, superficial qualm I have is that it's not available in any other colors. It's so... pink. So very, very pink.
