With the cheat strap and the heart rate monitoring it's a solid simple solution. It's not a fit bit but it's a great cheap alternative to get you the data you need

Its a very uselful and easy to use watch and Hr monitor. It pairs up everytime I turn it on.

The HRM is very accurate and helps me to better monitor my calorie intake /output ratio. Only negative is that I have to wear to seperate devices, this and fitbit.

Really like the info it gives back after rides. Great that it keeps files for all training sessions. Easy to see while riding bike.

This is a great unit no matter if you are beginner or an experience fitness person, and it comes with a heart rate strap.

I own the Garmin and this Polar. This Polar is much better for indoor workouts where my Garmin fails miserably. I use it for my insanity and T25 workouts.

I love love love my watch !! My first one. It's the best investment I have made for my journey in trying to get fit and loose weight. The heart monitor fits perfect as well. I couldnt be happier.

This watch works well, always picks up my heart rate quickly and without having to spend a lot of effort to moisten the strap. The only drawback so far is that it is impossible to display the stopwatch time and the heart rate at the same time on the watch face. It seems like a small thing, but it's extremely frustrating.

One of the better products on the market for exercising. Polar has a good reputation. Have used one for over 20 years and needed a newer model.

Not only is this watch very stylish, but it really helps me when I work out. The screen is easy to understand and always makes me happy to see how many calories I burned each workout. Love it!

This is a great monitor which is very accurate, easy to keap clean, easy to program and navigate.

It's very nice that I can use this pool aerobics and then download the data after the workout. Plus it hold a lot of workouts. Only issue I have is the display is small. Hard for me to see.

It's not the fanciest as Fitbit but it's really accurate when it comes to reading my HR because of the chest strap. Although this is my 2nd Polar (same model), after a year, the watch has a difficulty reading the strap. It transmits via Bluetooth & deteriorates possibly due to sweating while working out. If you're looking for a decent HR Monitor without the bells & whistles, I'd recommend this. It's cheaper than FITBIT.

This watch and heart rate monitor seems to be accurate and is very simple to use. Great product.

Unfortunately I am having to return a second FT7 as it keeps giving me false readings. I use it to keep track of calories burned and heart rate when using the treadmill at the gym and in a lot of instances, it will put me into the "fitness" category and show my heart rate at 177 and sometimes over 200 in the first 3 minutes. I chose this product because it links up to Vitality but continue to be disappointed.

I love my polar ft7. Great value for my buck! I cannot workout without it. Love seeing the calorie burn...a great motivator.

Got it for my wife; purchased extended warranty; died just before warranty period was up; easily replaced by BB; second one also died under warranty but all this over a 4year period so upgraded to a Versa Smartwatch using the refund since BB didn't carry it anymore; overall though she thought it was a very nice unit and simple to use.
