I bought this on Black Friday and love it! Good for supplement audio to a TV.

One of my worst experiences in Best Buy. I picked up this sound bar in-store ignoring some of the bad reviews because a lot of people claimed that the audio quality is really good. Even websites like CNet and PCMag left good reviews for the Signa S1. So I un-boxed it and turned it on only to be disappointed. Sound quality is really poor. Balance of lows, mids and highs is missing. Bass is extremely weak. I tried all settings and combinations. Had to literally touch the sub woofer every time to check if it was even working. The remote has to be used in line of sight, otherwise doesn't work. Really bad offering from Polk Audio. I was expecting it to be a lot better. I was looking at replacing an Altec Lansing speaker system which is 9 years old and it still sounds much better! I turned on my Sony HTCT260 sound bar which is over 5 years old and it blows this Signa S1 out of the water. So I carefully packed it up and took it back to the store in less than an hour and a half. With this Retail Equation nonsense that Best Buy has subscribed to, they will not accept my return. And I'm an Elite Plus member! So much for being loyal. So I was ping ponged around from store rep. to Retail Equation to store return dept. manager to corporate office to store manager (who is on vacation till next Thursday) Retail Equation says they are third party and cannot do anything. Store dept. manager says the system will not allow her to over ride and accept the return. Corp. office rep. says nothing she can do, speak to the main store mgr. to see if he/she will make and exception. Now I am stuck with this terrible piece of junk! What a nightmare!

I love the fact this is Bluetooth and I can place the Sub, turn it on and enjoy! I haven't figured out how to consolidate my remotes yet so I am still having to use multiple remotes.

I was lucky enough to get this sound bar on sale - it is easley worth twice what I paid for it - I have 2 surround system(LG and Samsung) I would ranked the Polk as number 1 than the other 2

Sounds good in 16x16 room. Any bigger room is too big. Easy setup. Bass frequency response is a little lightweight. Mid- and high-frequency is fine. Overall, we’re quite happy for the price.

Realizing that one can spend near $1000 for a state of the art sound bar, I found this one to be well worth the money and more than sufficient for my quite minimal TV watching.

good soundbar. i thought it would have more options for adjusting the sound but its pretty basic. the guy in the store must have shown me the wrong remote. slightly disappointing.

This sound bar has great sound. The subwoofer is wireless which is a plus as well. Can connect through Bluetooth, optical cable or Auxiliary cable. Easy remote which offers 3 separate audio options.

Great sound bar loud and clear for a 200 square foot bed room. Easy hook up

It is a great sound bar overall, but the range on the remote doesn't reach very far. Which isn't a bad selling point, but we bought this for my grandmother who is unable to hear very well/move well, so we had to go buy an universal remote so she could change the volume without having to stand basically right next to the TV. Overall a great product.

Love this thing! Loud enough to annoy the neighbors yet not break my bank!

A good sound bar for the price. It has a decent amount of volume, but the bass could be a little bit better. However, it's a small sub, and a not very expensive unit. The worst part about this item, the main reason I would not recommend it, is because oh how often it shuts itself off. If you pause a movie or show, and go make a sandwich, the soundbar shuts itself off. Also, the remote is pretty crap too. I find that I have to push the power button multiple times until the soundbar turns on.

I bought this soundbar for the fact that I wanted my tv to be louder but I also wanted to listen to my music. This soundbar is Bluetooth compatible. The sound is great with or without the subwoofer. I love that I purchased this.

easy to set up. Did loose its connection when the sub-woofer was un-plugged. was not just a matter of plugging it back in, had to go through a new set up from scratch with the TV

I bought this sound bar for a 70” LG TV. Although it doesn’t auto connect because it’s a different brand, it is a great sound at. Sounds really good and price was reasonable.

This sound at is perfect for my apartment. It provides excellent sound quality for my application. It is a tremendous improvement over the tv speakers. I am very pleased with the quality.

I highly recommend this product. Easy to assemble and sound excellent.

When I added this sound bar to my tv, it made an incredible difference

I am happy with the sound, but unfortunately after watching TV for a while the sound gets staticky and you have to turn the sound bar off for a few seconds and then turn it back on.

The remote will only operate within 10 feet of the sound bar. I find this to be an annoying limitation. Also, it is impossible to get through to Polk service to make inquiries.
