Terrible Product, Terrible Service
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soundbar initially sounded great and had the features I was looking for, but the unit totally stopped working after 45 days. I could no longer return the unit to Best But, and Polk customer service is non-existent. Now I have a unit collecting dust in my house while I wait for an electronics recycling event so that I do not have to pay to get rid of it! It would have been more satisfying to just burn the money I spent on this unit. Steer clear of Polk, brand has gone to garbage.

Great sound value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound bar allows me to hear better with out the volume turned up high. My family could no longer watch tv with me because the volume was so loud. Now we can watch tv together again. I also enjoy the 360 sound from the speaker. I would definitely buy it again and probably will for the tv down stairs.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good!! We have had our sound bar for a month and we are just as blown away by the surround sound as the first time we used it. I’m not sure we’ll ever go to the movie theaters again... if we’re ever able to that is. So if you’re stuck at home during covid like us... invest in your surroundings with some serious sound.

Best Soundbar I have ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar is off the hook. I wanted something that had clear speech. Good bass. Could be turned up loud without distortion. Could add rear speakers. Doesnt break the bank account. This checked all of the boxes. I went into Best Buy and listened to all the sound bars on display. I kept noticing the cheap little Polk soundbar that was $150 sounded better then the $300-$400 soundbars and was intrigued. So I looked up what other bars Polk offered and saw the Magnifi Max had a lot of features and you could purchase rear speakers for it. So I found where it was on display by my helpful Best Buy employee and we pushed the demo button and it was earth shattering. The sounds seemed to whiz around my head and I could hear what people were saying. The sub was rattling the building. Everything sounded so clear. Then I looked at the price tag thinking there was no way I could purchase it because for this nice of a soundbar it must cost over $1,000. Not only was it way less then I thought but it was on sale for $399. Dont look at the sound bars that are $1,000 dont look at the sound bars that are $150. Just buy this one and be happy when your spouse comes down to the basement and tells you to turn it down because it is shaking the house apart.

Sounds good and was on sale!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation was easy, worked right out of the box, with Dish Hopper, Amazon firetv and LG tv. Sounds great, but had to move it a little forward on the mantle because the tv stand legs bumped the sound bar. This interferes slightly with tv remote sensor, but all the other remotes still work great. True center channel makes it much easier to hear dialog on tv.

Don't just take my word for it...see 4 yourself.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A superb system for the price if you can catch it on sale. The features are plentiful. 1 main HDMI. 3 additional HDMI along with other features. You simply connect all of your components to the back of the soundbar so that only 1 cable instead of 3 or 4 is connected to the television for a very clean look. Has a very sleek look. The one thing that bothered me about other systems that I've had is that the subwoofer always overpowered the mids & highs. The bass in this one actually compliments the soundbar instead of drowning it out. So it you like thunderous bass this is not the system for you. But if you truly enjoy listening to all of the sounds incorporated nicely together than this is the one. The fine tuning options are superb. Depending on the quality of the source you do not have to turn the volume up much. For the most part I keep the volume between 9-25. I think it goes up to 100. I've never had the need to crank it up. Now again if you're used to 'Thunderous' bass this is not the system for you. But if you like powerful yet smooth bass then you're good to go. Again don't take my word for it. Simply see for yourself.

Polk Magnifi Max Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The soundbar and base put out good quality sound. I highly recommend getting the additional surround back speakers to complete the setup. They will run you about an additional $175 for the pair but that way you have full surround sound in a wireless design.

Powerful and fun.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the first one because it bricked with an orange light. This second one seems good so far. Limited bluetooth support as alexa will not pick it up. Chrome cast is easy though. The sub delivers room shaking bass and blasting DMX is a true treat.

Excellent Sound!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Polk Audio got it right with this sound system. The clarity and voice output is amazing. The only negative, and it is very very minor is the volume control increment. The unit is slow to respond to volume change and can go up or down too far due to the delay. Again, this is minor and I got used to it pretty quickly. The sound quality is amazing!

Great all around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love Polk sound. With just the front sound bar and bass it feels like a movie theatre and the sound is crisp. Great steady volume with great quality. With the option of adding wireless speakers from Polk, this is a great buy for the sound enthusiast that doesn’t want a lot of work to build a theatre.

Great sound, horrible value
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am being generous on the 3 star rating honestly. The sound is fantastic because Polk. Setup is easy as is pairing bluetooth. But here is the deal, the sub clicks even when not being used. I've researched and its rather common. It doesn't do it all the time, but its super annoying when it does. For $600-ish dollars, no, not worth it. I also bought the satellite speakers to make it surround and again the pairing was easy and they work well. But the subwoofer clicking and making the noise makes this thing not close to worth the money.

Sounds Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install with a clean installation. Eliminated a receiver and full surround sound Bose speakers with subwoofer. I am just as satisfied with the sound. Love no wire for the sub. It just works so easy that my wife can use all the features of all our av equipment without notes to figure what button combo to press. One remote now gets it done.

Very helpful sales staff and good deal !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this to supplement the sound on our TV set. The sales person was very helpful. We thought we would have to replace the TV, but they suggested we get the sound bar instead. It worked out and is a good compliment.

Great sound, easy to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve really enjoyed this sound bar. I initially purchased the model with the built in Alexa. It was ok, but I wanted more. This model delivered. Deep, smooth bass from the sub and clear, crisp sound at all volume levels. Music streams easily and sounds great too!
