I have a Polk Sigma on another TV and originally bought a Samsung soundbar but it had a very poor base response. I returned unit and bought the Polk and it was night and day change, much better base and great voice clarity. Polk delivers and is reasonably priced.

Easy to set up. Great directions. Very good sound.

This system sounds amazing when it works BUT...there are several things you need to know before purchase that aren't online, in manuals or reviews. 1. Every piece of your system needs to be away from your WiFi router by at LEAST 10ft or they may not function properly. Even your SR1s. 2. You need to have Google Home installed on your phone or tablet and you need to have current firmware installed or the system may not work properly and or sound aweful. 3. Your source device needs to be Dolby capable or they may not work. 4. If you reside in a area where there are many wifi signals, like a apartment complex. This system may not be good for you as the SR1s can pick up random sources other than your system. 5. If you have a issue - Tech support is a friendly group, however, they will tell you they have never heard of any issues with this system. That is NOT true. This system has many known issues. Cracking sound, dropping sync, etc 6. Polk Audio website for online product support is a flat ZERO. NADA. NOTHING useful so you will get little help there. We have 3 of these in my family, When working correctly they are great. If they don't work out of the box you most likely will take it back or send it for repair. It sucks buying something and having to call tech support and send it for repair right away. One of ours has failed twice in a year and sent in for warranty. One was bad out of the box and was warranty swapped, the replacement has been fine. Do your due diligence to research this product before you make the decision to buy. Sounds phenomenal but very unreliable. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you were prepared to go thru hoops to get it right. Frustration is a 65% chance with this.

The Polk Magnifi Max soundbar was easy to set up and sounds good when listening to movies. When playing music through the soundbar, I would suggest leaving it on Movie Mode. Music mode seems to dull the sound.

I tried multiple sound bars this was the only one imo that had quality of sound and decent price. I also gave up on my sound bar search after this one. I learned the hard way they only come 2 important features unless you plan to spend a lot of money. Most are either louder than your tv speakers or louder than your tv speakers with a center voice channel. This one comes with the center voice channel. They also offer rear surround sound speakers that work via Bluetooth. Don’t get them. They are garbage and make a lot of unwanted noises when not even in use. If you are looking for a specific surround sound format don’t bother. I have found it’s best to set all your connected devices to one universal sound output then connect them to the sound bar. When you try to use different audio formats the sound bar takes 20-30 seconds to set itself up and delays whatever you are watching. The main reason I got this sound bar was it was the only one with a separate voice channel so you can hear the dialogue with all the other sounds going on.

I have to say I trust polk audio when it comes to excellent speakers and this soundbar is a must own if your not planning to spend more than $1,000. I got this soundbar at a great price $399.99 excellent audio! I think the sony dolby atmos soundbar is nice but sounds terrible. The Yamaha and Lg dolby atmos soundbar are really good but too expensive. This Polk Audio soundbar sounds amazing to me the included 8" sub sounds like a big sub, sometimes I have to lower the volume on the sub for the size it is its amazing!. Now the soundbar WOW! love it I have played movies mix in dolby atmos and this soundbar reproduces it as if it was dolby atmos because the audio coming out of it is amazing sounds like you have speakers all over the room. One of the movies I was testing was John Wick also No distortion coming out from this speaker I can tell you that, compare to the sony soundbar. I recommended it a big thumbs up.

The sound from the Polk Audio sound bar is very good... It has good adjustability... There was an issue with the first one I purchased but was easily exchanged and there have been no issues with the new one... Bluetooth is also nice to stream music...

Still learning how to best use it, but liking the quality. Wish there was a bit more to indicate sound levels on the bar versus showing on the screen. Happy with the quality of the sound function and especially the voice volume vs background noise.

Easy to set up and great voice sound and music sounds

Sounds great for the price. Only gripe is the soundbar will disconnect from the tv when switching sources, and then reconnect a second after the switch. So you have a second or two without sound.

I was on the fence about going with those sound bar or the $200 Polk audio sound bar I choose this one due to it having the bigger sub and an extra speaker as well as the sound bar being ported at the ends...the voice control works great my wife is no longer yelling at me to turn the TV down

Switched out from our old LG soundbar and after searching and researching and reading reviews, this is the one I decided on and couldn't be happier. Solid bass, voice clarity for shows and movies is amazing and it gets LOUD if you really want it to. Great purchase and product from Polk Audio.

I purchased this item last week and, so far, it has met my expectations. It was really easy to setup and my TV remote as well as the cable box remote work with this system so I don't need a much of remotes. It is a little pricey but I bought it on sale, a little more than what I wanted to spend but i think it is worth it.

We got this soundbar because my husband was having problems hearing the dialogue during movies. This has a great center channel that makes the dialogue crystal clear and also provides great sound and base. Only complaint is that the volume button on the remote is a little difficult to operate.

Several years ago, I purchased a Sony soundbar and was never really happy with it. This soundbar was recommended by a Best Buy associate. The sound is very clear and has many options. You can change the sound to whatever you are watching, whether it is sports, movies or listening to music. Good product for the price.

I Would give it a 5 but the app from polk is not good and it is difficult to get a consistent connection through the HDMI passthrough. However, using a optical or Bluetooth, this things sounds great.

Excellent sound bar for an inexpensive price. Vast improvement over sound from TV. If you like base then the included subwoofer is a very nice addition. Relatively easy to set up and it includes a HDMI cable and optical cable at no extra cost.

I have never owned anything Polk brand before so I was somewhat skeptical...but let me tell you, this thing rocks. I did add the rear surround speakers and it is thumping! I was very impressed with the integration to my current setup. Even the music sounds really good.
