This speaker is so amazing The sound quality on the speaker is unspeakable it is so good

Sound is top notch, setup is easy. Big problem is the bluetooth is too easy to connect to. Easy enough for the neighbors to connect even when the unit is off. Not very funny at 2am and you think burglars are partying in your living room. Seriously might have to trade in.

Great sound for a middle level sound bar. Polk is known for great products and this no exception.

I went to a Best Buy to get a simple $200 sound bar. A guy in a blue shirt talked up this Polk sound bar. It sounded great in the store. It had the center channel separation for dialog that is always needed. He up sold me this Polk, and I was glad to be up sold because I do love excellent audio. But I didn't do any research on this item. When I got home I did, and saw that it requires a constant wifi connection to update itself every three months, and without that connection it shuts down. Every three months, it shuts down. And I don't plan on having this Polk on the internet. So back it goes, unopened. I'm disappointed, cuz it did sound great in the store. I'm disappointed in myself too. But I just don't want every single piece of tech in my house hooked up to the internet. Old man syndrome I guess. If only there was a quality sound bar like this that didn't need "technological" updates all the time. The search continues.

It helps keep the background noise down while still being able to hear the words. Just what I was looking for. Service was great. Knowledgeable staff brought me to what I was asking for. There was not one in stock at the store I was in but the staff called another nearby store. They had one and they set it up for curbside pickup. Once I got to that store, I had my product within 10 minutes. Perfect!

Polk is a great company. I’ve used their speakers for many years. So I new the quality would be there. The sound bar supports the latest 4K HDR content from media players. However it is not clearly stated in documentation or their website that this DOES NOT support Dolby Digital Plus. The main reason why this is a let down is that this is the format Netflix uses for all their content. This means that any media played from Netflix will max out at 2 channel stereo and not 5.1. The Voice Adjust Technology is decent, but to me it just sounds like a mid range boost. It does help, but if you put it too high then the quality of audio starts to suffer because the EQ is wack.

This sound bar paired with the polk audio sr1 wireless rear speakers is incredible. Sounds great.

Returned a Sony because no bass....... Got this and WOW, the bass is great! Great for movies and music.

Good quality sound when it works, but now amp doesnt work unless you try to reset each day, for price that should not be a problem. Would not recommend unless you have alot of free time on your hands. We purchased as a Christmas gift in 2018,, so yes only 6 months into it.
