Sound is excellent. Bass is perfect. HDMI ARC connectivity is great. However, this unit causes too much interference with my home’s WiFi. I can stream Netflix and still get 300+ Mbps signal strength. But when I turn on the MagniFi it wrecks my signal strength to an Whopping average of 2 Mbps. Needless to say, I can stream HD video using tv speakers only or watch normal tv with the sound bar on, but stream with the sound bar on and I’m lucky if I can get 5 minutes of potato resolution before it kicks me out of the app. Polk customer service is basically nonexistent. Can’t get an answer and I keep getting passed off to different people who say they are going to transfer me to someone who can help. Probably the worst purchase ever.

This soundbar was recommended to me by one of the Best Buy salespeople. After listening to all of them and listening to some in other stores I came back and purchased it. It was on sale for $300 dropped from $500 so it was in my price range. This thing knocks it out of the park. Not only is the sound quality excellent but I love the dedicated center speaker. When the background sound gets too loud I can increase the voice volume which is a nice feature. I'm glad I went with this purchase to go along with my new Sony TV and would recommend it.

Took about 30 minutes to set up. Sounds very nice. Found the surround sound speakers off amazon and they enhance the sound even more

I've had a handful of soundbars over the past 10 years. BY FAR this one blows them all out of the water. Sound quality is amazing, sound control is amazing. My wife and I watched a movie and never once had to say "What did they just say" because we couldn't hear the dialogue while still being able to enjoy the movie theater-like vibrations from the subwoofer. This is a must buy!

Moved the surround sound downstairs to go with a big new TV, replacing it in the living room with this 3.1 channel soundbar system. The sound is perfect - TV shows sound great, and I'll often sync my phone to is and listen to music. Will sometimes lose its connection to the television (usually happens after stopped syncing my phone), and can be a hassle to get it reconnected.

Im no stranger to polk audio products, I put together a set up in my home theater using nothing but Polk audio speakers and decided to get this for my bedroom. It’s nice, loud, and best of all it has a wireless sub. Very clear and bass is great. I would recommend this for a bedroom or an office or a very small living room. Only bad thing about this unit is if you turn the bass all the way down you can still hear it at loud levels. Id still buy it regardless.

This system is great. The sound really comes out and around you, go test it in the store and close your eyes the second time youll see! The subwoofer gives just enough bass when it needs and rattles the windows when you want it to. My only regret was not buying the full set with 2 wireless surround speakers. The arc cable set up was plug and play, it came right on and worked with my t.v. remote. This is a must buy if you want movie theater like sound in your living room!!!

I wasn’t originally looking to purchase this sound bar but decided to give it a try. Man I do not regret it. I can hear the voices in every movie and all music I throw at it. The bass this thing puts out is crazy but you can lower it if needed and adjust more voice if needed. 2 days in and no problem what so ever. If you love clarity in movies and music and also love bass, you cannot go wrong here. I am planning on adding the 2 wireless rear speakers to make it a full 5.1 sound bar soon.

We initially purchased this sound bar at the full purchase price of roughly $499. Definitely would say this is not worth that full price. However, this frequently goes on sale for as low as $300. At that price point, I believe this is an amazing sound bar. We live in a two bedroom apartment and have to keep the bass at the lowest level because it does so well. Definitely recommend if you want a mid-price way to upgrade your TV sound.

This is by far the best sound bar I have ever heard. The setup was super easy and the base is smooth.

I have been very impressed with the sound quality of the product so far. I prefer a distinct surround sound setup, but that was not an option for my living room due to space limitations. I have always enjoyed the sound of Polk products, so I decided to try this one. My wife who doesn't usually commend on audio systems even said it was significantly better than the Samsung sound bar we had previously. The subwoofer has a great bass response and can really be loud if you want it to. I also really enjoy the soundbar's ability to increase the volume of dialogue in movies and shows. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because we did encounter interference with the wireless subwoofer when we put it in our preferred locations. Whenever it needed strong bass, there was an audible crackling from the speaker. We moved the subwoofer closer to the soundbar and the problem was eliminated. The original location was about 13 feet away (the manual states the distance is good to about 20 feet) while the new location is less than 4 feet away. I would highly recommend this soundbar with the caveat that you may need to have the subwoofer relatively close to the soundbar to avoid interference.

We just moved to a new house and we used to have a full room surround sound system with 6 speakers plus sub-woofer. This system provides sound that is equally impressive! We only use for TV... no gaming, etc., but the sound is better than I would have ever expected from a single speaker and sub-woofer. Set-up was also amazingly easy! I had it installed and operating with the TV remote in under 10 minutes!

I tried to save some cash and bought a cheaper system before this one, had to return it and just bit the bullet to upgrade to this one. It has blown us away. Super fast and easy set up if you have extra connections to be made (IE FireStick or Roku)...made it breeze and the sound is amazing. Currently rewatching every movie I’ve ever seen just to hear the at home movie experience I was supposed to have. I love it. Thank Best Buy for the recommendation!

This system is quite good with a few flaws. This good: decent price, very good center channel, built in chrome is nice. The bad: the subwoofer needs to resigned maybe a bigger sub woofer. Incorporate DTSX AND DOLBY SORROUND. Improve remote and redo the led indicator. Better yet remove led and replace with better technology.

I replaced a 5 year old Bose solo sound system and wanted something with more bass. The wireless sub woofer is easy to set up and together fills our family room with theater like sound. You can easily program it to work with your DirecTV remote. The Bose system wouldn't power on or off without the Bose remote. Overall for the price and all of the features (bluetooth, wireless sub, sound quality) it's a great deal.

Great soundbar! After reading reviews and purchasing two other systems and returning them, I am super excited to have found one I like! This soundbar was super easy to set up and has excellent sound and a good subwoofer too. Which is good because I like my music loud! If the floors not shaking, it’s not loud enough. With the previous soundbars, the sound was tolerable but the subwoofers were pathetic. So big win! Good job Polk!!

I had a different brand sound bar that eventually went bad. I did a lot of research and ended up with the Polk sound bar. I didn't want to spend a ton of money. Actually the sound with this system is better than my last system. If you are looking for something to play loud clear music this is not the system for you. If you are looking for a good sounding sound bar for watching TV or movies this works good. The frustrating part is when you turn the system off and later turn it back on, the sound does not turn on to where you left if when you turned it off. You have to start all over with the sound level every time you turn it off then back on.

This is the perfect home theater sound bar. The sound quality has been perfect. The bass is powerful, the details are well brought out, and the Voice Adjust tech works really well. I would also recommend getting the Polk Satellite Speakers to upgrade this to a full 5.1 surround sound experience. Overall, I have no complaints with this sound bar. It been pretty much perfect.
