Not a very good Soundbar a Subwolfer. I don’t recommend at all. For the money look at Samsung or Klipsch

We bought this to replace a Bose system that was no longer compatible with our tv. We love Bose but I must say this sound bar sounds amazing. We played a music blu ray through it & it blew us away. The bar is low so it doesn’t block remote access to your tv but it’s very long, our tv console is small so it hangs over the ends. It also comes with a subwoofer. The subwoofer is short & round. You can play music through Bluetooth or through Chromecast & your Google devices. Connection was easy through HDMI (ARC). If your tv doesn’t have that special port you can also connect with optical cable & auxiliary. We have an LG tv & we thought the speaker would just work when turned on but we had to go into our tv & change the sound settings so it would work. That part took us a few minutes to figure out. Remote comes in its own little bag & bass can be adjusted through it. Except for the sound issue everything else went smoothly & it sounds great.

This system replaced an aging Onkyo multi-speaker and powered subwoofer system. At first I was afraid the sound quality would be an issue but that has not been the case. It sounds great and we don’t have all the crazy wires everywhere. The initial set up was quick and easy. The remote was simple to use and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The only issue I had was I couldn’t get the remote to sync to my tv. That actually turned out to be user error and everything works as it should. Mounting the sound bar is should probably take two people but other than that is was a easy to do even alone. The sounds are clear and crisp. The vocals are dynamic and the subwoofer produces bass as it should. Highly recommended.

i turned on the speaker and it was working fne for the first day and then the subwoofer would make a rattling noise as if the speaker was popped and air was coming out but the speaker was brand new and fine, would never buy this brand again.

We replaced our surround sound system with the sound bar. There is too much background noise and it often overpowers the voices. We cannot get further help because we did not purchase the service plan for an extra $200 in addition to the $700 we paid for the product. Overall we are not very satisfied.

I would give this zero stars if able to. The subwoofer made a loud buzzing noise that was unbearable! This was the first and last time I would purchase a Polk speaker. I went back to my 10 year old Samsung soundbar. Save your money...I wish I would have!

We set this up and consistently heard a popping sound when we would play certain channels. And then my wife and I would come down in the morning and the soundbar would be playing sound with the TV turned off. I'm taking my back and getting a Sonos soundbar.

Completely overpriced even when on sale. Subwoofer is boomy with no volume control or switch between cut off/Hz control. Sub doesn't sound solid due to building materials. Blu tooth works well, never had that option before on other units.

Sometimes it works for days and then you notice its was not working when all of a sudden it comes back on. Noticed this right away, should've returned then. Came on here to see if I have a six month warranty.

Excellent SoundBar that's Surround Upgrade Capable

Over the past five years, I've had opportunities to put together sound systems for a few rooms in the house. Due to space and other constraints, I've needed to use systems that require minimal wiring, only use up space in one particular location (usually where the TV or projector screen will be located) and if possible are cost effective. With one previous exception (which currently stars in my rear projection media room), I've been disappointed. And, that unit is not a good fit for the main family room due to the size and openness. So, where it has come to the family room, I've been completely disappointed. . . until now. To be honest, I did not start this evaluation with high expectations. Soundbars have tended to let me down for the family room. It's a challenging location, very open to the rest of the first floor and the logical places to put a TV don't lend themselves to facing walls and other obstructions that can contain sound. Most households likely solve this problem with a system who cost has three zeros. I'm not most households. I decided to go the cost effective approach. If I find a solution that works, I'll use it. Otherwise, I'll stick with the TV speakers because my expectations can't get any lower. The Polk Audio MagniFi MAX does a great job of filling this sound void. Amazing sound, good bass in a setup that looks good and is pretty easy to setup. It took me all of 7 minutes to get things in place, at least half of which was unpacking the thing! The soundbar has three HDMI inputs, an HDMI ARC channel for connection to the TV, bluetooth, wifi (and can act as a Chromecast receiver), and an optical audio input. Pretty much coverage of just about anything you'd need in a modern system. I started out with the optical connection to my FireTV while leaving it connected to the TV's ARC. Now that it's sticking around, I'm swapping the soundbar to the ARC connection. Aside from the sound, I'm really impressed by the little touches and how things just work. Playing music to the speakers from my phone - easy. Auto turn on when my FireTV starts a show - great. The soundbar also has some custom mode (night - which emphasizes voice dialog, movie, and music). It also has dedicated bass and voice volume buttons so you can adjust those relative to the main volume level. How cool is that!? The subwoofer connects wirelessly and based on the instructions, should one opt to expand to the surround sound speakers, they're wireless as well. That would add some clutter to my family room, but only needing a power connection means this is much more feasible.
