Sounds great!

Bar sounds full and doesn't have that tinny sound like most do. The sub kicks out bass that you can actually feel. The voice adjustment is great. The dialogue is loud and clear. If you are in this price range and trying to decide, I would definitely recommend this set.

Finally got my Polk Audio

I love how I can control the volume, voice and bass separately. The bar is clear and gets really loud. Definitely can hear and feel the bass. I have the sub placed next to my couch. You can't go wrong with this one!

Could be amazing but...

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing sound, but I went against my gut when I heard it in the store and ignored the reviews! The sub pops randomly and for long periods of times and sounds blown. When it works it’s unreal we watch a lot of Marvel movies and it was amazing! Polk admitted the issue initially and now denies it, so good luck getting help from them. Wish I could take it back and get a different sound bar.

Don't waste your time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high expectations for this Polk sound bar. I mean it's Polk so it has to sound great right! Wrong, I was so unhappy with the sound that came out of this thing. There is so much audio that is missing. The sub blends with the mids and that's about it. It's just muddy audio. Where are the highs? I'm a bass head but I still want the full range of sound, the clarity of it all. I don't understand how this bar is getting good reviews, especially the ones really praising this thing. I know everyone has different tastes but don't we all still want to hear all the audio that is supposed to be reproduced from that movie or song through the speakers?

5 Months broken no resolution from Polk

Well I got this product in October 2018. About 3 weeks into having it hooked up the rear speakers would make a crackle noise so loudly I had to disconnect them. Then the subwoofer started to make loud popping noises when the sound was quiet. The sound was so loud and bad it would literally make us jump. I contacted Polk in November and they said that there was an issue with the receiver and would send me a new one. Now flash forward to 5 months later, 7 calls to customer service and still no resolution. They keep telling me the product is back ordered and give me a date when I should expect it then that date passes and they give me the same song and dance again. I have never had such bad customer service from a major company before. Not only does the product not work I cant get a straight answer from the company. Save yourself the headacheand choose a different company to buy from!!

The System is Great. When it Works

Deep base, high trebles, and it filled my living room with nearly surround sound quality. However, after a few weeks, the sound coming from the sub-woofer began to crack and pop if left on for more than an hour while watching a movie, playing music, or watching television. Eventually, a couple of weeks later, the subwoofer stopped working all together, and would not regain function despite reconnecting it several times to the main sound bar. My sound bar is now with Geek Squad for repair, and is not expected to be ready for pickup for 3-4 weeks. Do not waste your money on this sound bar.
