Nothing to complain about for audio and bass here. For the price, its hard to beat. The only cons are, the sound bar crackles if its cold, will go away after it warms up, or the room warms up. And Best Buy does not offer the rear surround speakers, so had to find those on Amazon. (I recommend finding the rear speakers for the complete set up)

I originally bought the Magnifi Mini It was very nice but did not have the total watt output that I wanted This system is great it sounds really good Voice clarity is great I use it on movie mode and all comes through really well Blue tooth on phone works great also I use the HDMI ARC and it works well with the Vizio. Tv Music is crisp Also BBUY price matches and I purchased the 4yr protection just for peace of mind Bbuy has been very good to work with

I was looking for a soundbar that had good sound quality and voice clarity. After speaking to several people at Bestbuy and looking at the reviews, I settled on the Polk. It is awesome. I can actually understand the voices, because they are not drowned out by special effects, music, etc. The center speaker can be adjusted over the other speakers to fit your taste. I wish I would have discovered this POLK soundbar years ago. Well worth the price and it often goes on sale.

I was a little skeptical toward purchasing this product as I was uncertain about the sound quality. However, after setting everything up and running the system through its paces with music (streaming from Spotify) and movies streamed from various providers, I find myself content thus far . . . I would recommend this system to anyone considering Sony or Bose as I was leaning towards both brands until I found this and it was open-box!

100% legit review. Not paid. I bought this surround sound system on Black Friday in 2018. I have had this system now for almost 5 months now and right off the bat - I am not disappointed. Pros: The bass is great. I love the fact that you can switch back and forth between movie/sports/music modes to heighten the voices or bass/action scenes. It's a great add-on that you can manually control the bass or raise the sound of peoples voices. Very cool feature that I have found works really well. The sound bar looks really nice and not only directs sound forward, but sideways as well (this is why you should not place this on a shelf with sideboards). Cons: The subwoofer is kind of big. That is not really a problem for my set-up but I can see why it may bother some people. You WILL notice it if you can't strategically "hide" it. The app on the phone just does not work (unless I am a complete idiot - which could be). The sound for a retail $499 SS system should be a little more clear. I am not saying this is a bad SS system, but for $500, I expect blow me away sound. Overall: If you can grab a deal on this surround sound system, like I did on Black Friday, I HIGHLY recommend it. It absolutely blows away my previous ~$200 Samsung sound bar. But $499 is a steep price tag and for that price - I expect ultra clear sounds. I rated a 4/5*.

Soundbar was great. Subwoofer doesnt seem to hold up as I am already hearing poping sounds on certain bass parts. I also keep the bass negative or at zero so dont understand how its popping. Remote needs to be aimed directly at the center or wont operate properly. Polk is still great and must say I still give this a 4 out of 5 bc the voice enhancement is great.

This is by far the best soundbar I have ever purchased. I returned others for not living up to my expectations. This is a very nice high end soundbar! Sounds great...can only imagine how much better it would sound with the satellite speakers. I am very pleased with the subwoofer performance as it has turned my media room into a real theater like experience. I've only had it for a month but so far so good.

The shipment on this sound bar was very fast. Unfortunately the sound bar wouldn't sync or pair with the bass. Tech support at Polk was super helpful, but couldn't fix the problem. They were going to send me out another one, but realized I had just purchased it so recommended I return it and get another one from BB. This was a very simple process. BB took it back at the store no problem and ordered another one. Second sound bar came very quickly. The second sound bar was great. Very easy to install. Updated the drivers and all worked well. The dedicated treble speaker really helped with audio in high ranges which was a problem I was having. Makes watching movies, sports, and the like a much better experience. The bass speaker is great and can be cranked quite loud. I also like the idea I can add speakers later to get the surround sound. I would recommend Polk. Excellent customer service. If you're having problems with set up give them a quick call. And a 3.1 sound bar is essential if you are having trouble hearing the treble in a distinct way. I used it on a Samsung T.V. and it paired well. Remotes worked well together. No problem there. If you're looking for a mid level sound bar the Polk is a great choice. It competes with the more expensive ones quite nicely.

I purchased another brand prior to purchasing this Polk system. A few extra bucks for this Polk system was by far the best decision I made. The ability to increase the volume on voices is a great feature. This unit also connects to WiFi for updates, has the option to add two rear wireless speakers, you can use your tv remote to control the volume, and the bass is awesome! Unlike the other system, you can hear awesome sounding bass on the system. Couldn’t be happier.

Polk audio 3.1 is great. The side ports project the sound out to the walls and it has a feel more like Atmos. With the Bluetooth woofer it’s clean and clear. The remote allows you to raise the voice so you can still hear clear speech and adjust the bass. If you purchase the Polk wireless speakers they complete the 2 remaining channels and provide true 5.1 surround. They also connect via HDMI so your tv remote (or Apple TV in my case) will control the speaker volume. Amazing sound awesome value!

I was very surprised and pleased by the sound on this soundbar ! I've tried many systems before but for the price this was by far the best. It's simplicity and ease of use made this sound bar a pleasure to use. With the surround sound speakers I bought for it made it even a much better theater system. The speakers are not necessary to get a great experience but if you're serious about sounds I highly recommend picking up a pair. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my father as a move in present. He wanted to replace his older mid 2000s style surround system when he moved in. This thing gets loud and remains clear. It was easy enough to setup. Only took about 3-5 minutes so that is also a plus. As far as price it was on sale on Newegg and Best buy matched the price with no quarrels or issues to be noted. It has been months since purchase and there have been no issues with this product at all.

This truly is the best sound bar I have had. You can separate the voice from the left and the right. Easy setup.

Man I could not be happier. This sound bar rocks and setup was so incredibly simple! Great DEEP bass and the voice emphasis is spot on. Very crisp and easy to understand voices with this feature. Mine is connected via USB cable (I found Samsung has an issue with their optical outputs dipping audio volume during scene changes) so no audio issues there and control of off and on functions on the sound bar when the tv is turned off and on work perfectly.
