Easy to install sound good and look great on the ceiling.

Purchased 6 pairs of VT60 speakers to replace existing surround sound speakers. The sound is great from this setup...very loud and clear. Prior experience with in-wall speakers hasn't been that great (contractor grade speakers and 16 yrs old). The installation was extremely easy. Trace the template, cut a hole and slide into place. The sound quality is very good. I will admit, I'm not an audiophile, but I did find the music to be clear and the quality is very good enough for my kitchen and bedroom. The open box excellent price was perfect and the sound is also very good. I highly recommend these speakers.

Having had this speaker for about a year now, I have been extremely pleased with it. It's a great combination of excellent sound and excellent value, and it is a speaker I would most definitely purchase again given the need to. There is a shallow-mount version of this speaker available, however not through Best Buy. One of my mounting locations required a shallow mount, so just know that the option is there!

The speakers a nice solution for the rear speakers needed in my surround system. I mounted them in the ceiling and found it easy to do. Their website has a video on how to install them but they do fail in mention that if you have loose insulation you need additional rear covers to keep the insulation out of the speaker. I found these on Amazon after I inquired to Polk Tech support.

Sure, the 8-yr old ceiling-mounted speaker-box style speakers I was replacing could be considered obsolete from a presentation standpoint, but they still sounded nice, right? Well, it was night & day difference once these were installed. Which was easy to do, after some yt how-to vids. If anything, maybe they shake my 2nd story floor a little too much when cranked up, but that's hardly an issue. : )

These Polk speakers are used as the left and right rear channels of a surround sound system. In our ceiling they sound as good as the front (main) speakers, which is saying a lot. They have a nice balanced full range, strong enough base and clear highs - not shrill. For the price they are highly recommended.

Bought these when they were on sale, and have been satisfied. Instructions made it incredibly easy to install on my own and the sound is fantastic. Use them for music and rear surround speakers for home theater. I've never been much of a DIYer when it comes to home repairs, but it was no sweat as long as you have/get the recommended equipment for installation.

Easy to install, well designed, great sound, blend into the eiling.

We have these Polk Audio speakers throughout our house. We have them in our theater and also in most of the rooms and bedrooms. We use them with the Sonos amplifier/music streamer. We have purchased 4 sets so far and need about that many more to complete the house. They sound fantastic! We've purchased them on sale, so that makes them really reasonable.

I bought 8 speakers and placed them in my garage, master bath, master bedroom, living room. All of them fill the area with sound and sound great at any volume. Turn the music up with the connect amp and hear no vibration just awesome music playing. Well worth it. Easy to install, good quality.

Was looking for a reasonably priced solution for surround for my living room. These were easy to install and sound well especially given the price.

The speakers sound very good and were easy to install. The only issue I have is that the cover could be better. It is held to the speaker by magnets and can rattle with heavy bass tones.

Paired these vt60 with polk rc265 series in a 7.1 setup and the sound is great. Sound is clean and clear. Installation was very easy with the included template. Product registration website did not work had to call polk customer support to add warranty coverage

I gave these speakers 4 stars since they have not been installed yet. I already have Polk speakers, so I know the quality of their products, and Best Buy offered them at a great sale price. My issue is with the Geek Squad. I had an in home consultation, and while nice folks, I was very disappointed! The consultant recommended speakers that were not the best compliment for my existing speakers, A/V equipment, and the physical layout of my media room. I ended up looking at what was available and making my own recommendations. When I asked my consultant, he agreed with my choices (I asked him to feel free to disagree if he thought my picks were not the best). I noted the rear speakers I chose were listed as “not available”. My consultant said he could get them, but after 5 days when I saw no progress, I reached out to share this info only to then get a call back telling me they weren’t available (wasted time). The next step was an on-site survey. I expected that the person who was coming out would make sure installation could be done the way I wanted it done. What I got was someone who wasn’t sure of anything, so he had to call someone for assistance over the phone. The survey ended with my being told that it might be ok, but on the day of the install if they start cutting holes in my ceiling for the speakers and find something unexpected, the install would not be done. This is info that should be known before any holes are cut. I decided to bring an electrician in who did a 5 minute survey of my walls and ceiling, and said based on the way my home was constructed, as well how my previous electrician installed my current in wall rear speakers and recessed ceiling lights, that the install could be done without any issues, so I canceled out with Best Buy. Again, all nice people, but based on my experience, the Geek Squad should not attempt to offer high end audio video solutions.

Bought two. The screen was bigger than anticipated so we returned them. It didn’t fit our application. They quality is great and they looked awesome, but it just wouldn’t work for what we needed. Good product though.

Sounds good in our den. Had to cut about 1/4" larger hole than what the previous speakers had. Easy to install, Made a mess between the cutting the extra 1/4 " and insulation that kept falling through the hole in the ceiling. Not the fault of the speakers though.

These are a great and inexpensive way to add Atmos sound to your ceilings. The provided cutout template is the perfect size, and the install is very straightforward. The sound from a relatively small speaker is impressive too!

Easy to install and sound is fantastic! Using a pair for my atmos stereo and the directional tweeters make placement very flexible.

These outperform some of the 8 inch speakers I've tried and they're cheaper. Enough said.
