Polk S55 towers

I’ve been waiting for the right time to make a purchase and Best Buy & Polk came thru with an awesome sale! These and an S35 center channel, finished out my S20 & S15s to complete my home system. The look & shape of the whole S series is beautiful. The sound is spectacular when all speakers are positioned accordingly.

Beautiful upgrade to my bookshelf set

The S55 really showed the sound my 5.1 setup was missing, filling in my midrange and adding pleasant bass (I live in a small apartment, 2nd floor, so do not have a sub). Could not pass these by when they went on sale at 50% off, and these perform better than expected.

Would probably go with the next size up S60 but for a mid range these work very well. Movies and music sound amazing. I still use a subwoofer so not sure on the sub quality on its own.

Polk tower speaker s55

All together they sound fantastic. Happy with my (price matched, and saved even more) purchase. There are probably better speakers, but I don’t see myself spending a couple thousand for speakers any time soon. These can keep up with the high priced sets just fine.

Definitely a huge step up from the Polk T50, which are still great sounding speakers, especially for a starter home theater. But these are another level. Have these paired with the S35 center channel.

Great completion to our surround sound.

The the two upper range speakers cover and separate with crisp fidelity and the sub range speakers are a perfect compliment to our larger subwoofer. Great quality! Great product! Great design and engineering!

I use them as home theater front speakers and they sound great!! The rest of my speakers are all definitive technology and these polk audio speakers keep up with all of them!!
