I purchased this item to replace my sound bar. It is being used with Polk bookshelf speakers and powered sub on a mid level Yamaha reciever. It makes a huge difference in movies and HD shows. This center channel speaker is only 4 inches tall and can fit in front of most TVs. I picked it up on sale and it is worth the price. It is a nice step up from a soundbar.

I had been considering the S35 for a long time. This speaker replaced a BIC center channel speaker. The decision to change speakers was based solely on the size of the S35. I was always pleased with the BIC. I changed the location of my TV and the BIC is larger and did not fit, or look good in the new location. I was concerned the S35 being smaller would not sound as good as the BIC. I am delighted with appearance and sound. the bass is outstanding for a speaker of its size and the midrange exceeds my expectations. This was mentioned in several of the reviews. Could not be more pleased with the speaker.

I'm not a crazy audiophile, however I can 'clearly' hear these speakers are the best I have ever owned. Heck the fact that they also look amazing with the front off makes me proud to display them. I'm normally a Bose guy and know they have a lot of hatters and fan boys, but for a lot less then what I would have paid for Bose, these seem to sound better in my opinion to what I was about to get.

The speaker has excellent sound quality for the price with a slim profile that makes it hardly noticeable as compared to most center channel speakers. There is more bass but it adds to a more complete sound for dialog.

I’m very happy with all my Polk speakers. I bought this as a center channel speaker to replace my older CSI A4. That speaker was great, but it was too large to fit in most media consoles. The S35 fits much better, but also sounds better. It drives dialogue much better, and musically it delivers upper-mids that really makes most music pretty. This is currently mated to Monitor 70 towers and a psw-505 subwoofer for a solid home theater experience. I would seriously consider upgrading to the whole signature series lineup when it’s time to spend a little more money

Small size, Big sound. This Polk Audio center channel speaker checked all the boxes and was an excellent upgrade for my surround system. I have limited space on my mantel for a center channel and have been looking to upgrade my old Bose center channel for years. What an improvement, the dialog is now clear and easy to hear without having to crank up the volume. If you are looking for a center channel and have limited space, this Polk Audio Signature Series S35 is definitely worth a listen.

The soundbar is amazing, you can really hear the finite sounds during tv or movies.

Looking for a low profile, wife friendly and great sounding center channel, then look no further. Through the pandemic I have been piece by piece upgrading my aurround system and was searching for a well balanced center, with great asthetics and sound, this one knocked it out the park. Truly stylish, great sounding and immersive. Vocal clarity is exceptional and really ties down the front soundstage very well. Truly came to life after approximately 40-50 hours of break in time.

These are very dynamic speakers with a ton of punch and range. By far the best speakers for the price. I paired these with the matching sub and soundbar and my 5.1 system is full and powerful.

Pros: Slim or short I should say and has good but not great vocal production with good enough thump from the mini woofers. Aesthetically pleasing, and because of the stature of this speaker I was able to lower my TV mount by 3 inches for a center view of my TV without looking up. Cons: It's not as loud as the TSx150C it replaced, but has better clarity. The S35 is louder than my old CS10, but doesn't sound as good. The performance is between TSX150C and the CS10, unfortunately you're paying a premium for convenience rather than a product flat out better than both. Summary: If you're in the market for a good but not great center channel speaker this is the unit for you. I had a $150 gift card I used on this purchase and after taxes I spent about $65 on this unit. I don't think it's worth $200 plus as the sound is a mix bag but good overall. I think the spell should cost $130 with $30 added for form factor.

I wanted the 5 1/4” speaker but space was limited. I’m not disappointed, male voices do sound good, but I do still wish for the bigger cones for deeper voices. This replaced a 12 year old Infinity SAT 750 setup. What a difference.

I had to retire my Panasonic Surround system that I loved. So I bought this Polk Audio Center speaker along with a pair of Polk Audio Signature Passive 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers, and a Yamaha Receiver. WOW, the sound is awesome!!

This speaker has great sound, was an easy install and is a very good value. I would buy it again.

I shopped around for a new center channel speaker, tried and returned a few until this one. The two main thing that stand out about this speaker is the sound quality and the size. I needed a slim center to fit in my entertainment center. this one fits well. The sound quality is what really matters to me though and this one is fantastic. The vocals are so clean and clear but never harsh or muffled like other brands I tried.

This Polk S35 is not a crème de la crème but acts like one. It delivers a nice deep bass. The voices when watching TV are very audible and clear. Playing music on it was very good with moderate to deep bass for an item this small. It looks really good in a living room decor.

The center speaker is slim and powerful! The sound is good for the money!

I changed out a Polk monitor 15c speaker for this one. The 15c sounded fine it was just huge. I like the size and looks of the S35 and knew that polk delivers good quality. But this speaker is far above my expectations and proved well worth the added expense. After a short break in period the sound I am getting is crisp and clear. It delivers surprising low tones as well. Great speaker Thanks Polk audio.

I have plenty of Polk Audio Speakers and they have always performed well but the reason for this one is for it's low profile without affecting performance. If you are looking for a solution to placing a center channel in front of your Samsung Qled Series TV without obstructing your screen, then this is your center channel!

The price is fair, the sound is excellent. I pair this center channel with 2 Martin Logan motion 4 speakers and a 500 watt sub; I am telling you I am really satisfied.

I was very pleased with the sound quality and mid range vocals that this speaker produces. I was searching for a low profile center channel to use with my existing B&W surround sound and this speaker blended in beautifully. Highly recommended.
