    you're going to have to turn the treble down as they are very bright speakers and have signal-less volume going through the tweeter. I also have an option on my receiver (I can't remember what it is called), that decreases the excess signal pushed through which dropped the excessive signal-less volume down a bit more.

    As with all book shelf speakers there is one common factor. These particular types provide subtle bass, subtle treble and more midrange sounds. I’ve tried other midrange brands and so far the best sounds come from this product.

    Bought these to replace a pair of small (5") surround speakers. Has greatly improved the system balance, and I now have true 5.1 system. Great price for a great pair of speakers.

    Luckily these speakers went on sale and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Using these for a gym space. Sounds loud and clear but decided to also get the Polk 10" subwoofer to help pump-up the bass.

    Bought a pair of these to go with a new receiver I had just bought. Don't do much surround sound for movies or the like, just wanted my turntable to sound good. Would really need a subwoofer to go a long with these are they don't provide much bass at all. They give out a clean sound, but not what I was wanting.
