Great Speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers for better sound with our flat screen TV, especially DVD movies. Terrific. Compact yet great sound. They sit just behind and below the flat screen on the stand we bought for the flat screen. Nearly invisible, yet right where main speakers should be -- close to the screen.

Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved into a smaller place so I needed to replace my rear surround sound speaker. My 5 other speakers are all Polk so I looked into getting 2 Polk bookshelf speakers and I couldn't be happier with the sound quality for such a great price.

Does what you'd expect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They were a fair price and sound decent, but struggle with very low and high pitched tones. They look good on my shelf and don't take up too much space.

Excellent speakers for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Those speakers was a replacement upgrade to work with my new 5.1 receiver. At the price point sold, I was hesitate at first, but I was impressed by the sound quality of the speakers. The size was compact enough to fit in the same exact spot as the replaced shelf speakers, and they did not vibrate the built-in shelf when the volume was pumped louder than average. I would definitely purchase products from Polk Audio again and would recommend those speakers to others as well.

Ground sound and quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers to serve as fronts in a home theater system with a Pioneer AV receiver, Pioneer subwoofer, and Polk center. I didn't want to buy the typical box speaker set because of the hassle of installing rear surrounds. I did want big sound from the fronts since the system will be used for both movies and music. Fronts are the most important element in a good sound system playing radio, CDs, iTunes or Pandora since most of those sources do not use the rear surrounds or center. I couldn't be happier with the T15s. They are well built, look great, and sound excellent. I also got them at the remarkable price of $49. These speakers easily fill my 16x20 living room and give outstanding audio in both movie and music modes.

Rocking...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had these a couple of days and finally got everything hooked up proper in my bedroom. Running a 5.1 surround setup and I've got to say...these things are worth every penny. I suppose there's a good reason these things are so reviewed and on the positive end as well. Listening in stereo with a sub and these being the only thing putting out the mids and uppers they sound great even without a good break in (that's what I'm doing right now). I have these puppies cranked and have listened to a few different genres and they excel at producing great sound. Audiophiles will find something to snivel about but that's their job (or their misery in life to be so darned picky). Mine is to enjoy well produced sound and be happy with it at an exceptionally low price. Loving these speakers right now...

Great speaker for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For an entry level speaker I think these are among the best out there. Even at high volume levels they sound great. I'm using them as the front and rear speakers for a surround system combined with a Pioneer SP-C22 center speaker and Polk PSW-10 sub all powered by a Pioneer VSX-524-K amplifier. You really can't beat these for the price.

Great value, excellent sound for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At $99 these offer the best value in speakers that I have found. When they are on sale, they can't be beaten. We bought a budget home theater system and replaced the front speakers with the Polk set. The sound is crisp, clear, with good range and plenty of power. They sound better to us than an older set of Bose bookshelf speakers with the their characteristic heavy bass. Take your time and try all the speakers in the store display before buying, when you listen to the Polk speakers I think you will like what you hear.

Stunning sound and value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am replacing my 35-year-old Yamaha NS-325 speakers, while I order a kit to repair the woofer surrounds. I bought these Polk beauties today, after MUCH research. I am using them as stand-alone stereo speakers for my computer, running through my old (restored) Yamaha CR 420 receiver for the time being, until I get my Yamaha speakers repaired. At that point I will use my new Polks as front (or "A") speakers, and use the Yamahas as rear (or "B" speakers) on the wall behind me. I am totally stunned at the amazing quality of my new Polks right out of the box. Of course, they cannot compare to properly functioning Yamahas, with their 10" woofers, and both mid-range and tweeter fully adjustable. But the Polks sound so good all by themselves, I am really stunned! I have tested out most of my favorite music on them, from 4 sources (Windows Media Player, Youtube, Pandora, & CD), and I am so happy with this purchase. I can't wait to see how they "break in". I will be doing LOTS of listening over the next 15 days, and I will be shocked if any problems develop. In a world where quality AND value is so often a thing of the past, these Polks are a wonderful find!

Little boxes go boom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a bass heavy speaker, meaning that the bass is fairly strong but it overpowers the rest of the music. Vocals, guitars, and high percussion will sound muted in comparison. However, these could be just the thing you're looking for if you want some well built speakers to put in your garage or workshop. Or if you really are "all about that bass, no treble". Recommended only if on sale or for a specific purpose. For critical listening of music, I would pass on these.

The best there is for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are these a perfect speaker? No. But I paid a fortune for the front L & R speaker in my home theater setup. I looked (and listened) to a ton of speakers trying to find something that was workable without paying a fortune all over again. I found I couldn't find anything even close to this in terms of sound/value. I've only owned them about 2 weeks so I can't say how long they'll be around, but the build quality seems great. The only drawback I can see is that for my use (as a surround speaker), they are a bit large. But you can't have everything!

Big Sound, Small space!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Speakers were used to replace a couple Onkyo bookshelf speakers that just didn't have the range I wanted for my system. I was suprised at how clear they are and that they had such a dynamic range. I was concerned that they might be to "tinny" sounding. Not in the least. They also have quite a decent low end response for the size as well.

Great speakers for my studio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers sound excellent on my 80 watt .05% T.H.D receiver, perfect for my studio apartment. I look forward to upgrading someday, for now these speakers sound really good.

Great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love them so far. A vast improvement over the original Sony Home Theater in a Box speakers. It came down to these or a pair of Klipsch at $150 more. I preferred the warmth of these. The Klipsch were just a little too bright for my tastes. What a value. For a 12' X 20' environment these are fabulous.

Great looking and sounding pair of speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These little speakers work great as an addition to a great room I have with an additional pair of floor speakers. I was looking for something, powerful, easy to set up and as inexpensive as possible. These Polk audio speakers work great.

Best Speakers in the Price range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall these speakers deliver. I would agree that these speakers lack on booming bass, but that's not what I think when I want to listen to music or movies. That's why they make SUBS!. If placed in a home theater with the proper calibration of levels from all speakers, (I use Onkyo Calibration Mic to calibrate my speakers) the sound is amazing. I hear more detail than ever before. I am very impressed with my purchase and I would not return them in a heart beat. They are a nice welcome to my home theater. I use Banana Plugs for the connection. I would highly recommend them for home theater use. If you are looking for just a good pair of Stereo speakers, you should spend a little more. These are well balance speakers for any home theater. And they have the best warranty, 5-year manufacturing warranty. It just gives you the peace of mind that Polk Audio stand behind their product. Unlike Sony and Insignia that have a 90-day to 1 year warranty. You really can't judge on looks, base your decision on your ears. They won't lie.

Clean Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paired with a subwoofer, these sound great as front speakers. I plan to buy the Polk T50 floor standing speakers and make these T15's my surround speakers.

Great speakers in surround setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a new receiver for my bedroom, and added these speakers for my surrounds in my 5.1 setup. These speakers work really well, and they are not too big for my room. I am quite happy with these speakers and the best buy associates were very helpful in helping me choose these and other speakers for my room.

I've NEVER written a review, but had to for these!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a former DJ, amateur audiophile and daily listener of electronic music, these speakers blow me away: crisp highs, deep lows, and the mid-range pulls it all together. After a bit of calibration with a Polk subwoofer (read: playing around with the amps' equalizer settings for 5 minutes), the sound is intensely pure. If you are reading this and have any doubts buying these, throw them out the window - these speakers are awesome! (Note: They are paired with a powered subwoofer, which adds the necessary depth of sound. I'm sure they are great without, but if you want a complete speaker solution without going 7.1, 6.1. or 5.1 surround, this is it.) Enjoy!
