great inexpensive replacement bookshelf speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these to replace my 30+ year old premium Acoustic Research stereo speakers, all of which needed to have the bass speakers repaired. With my 60+ year old hearing, these speakers do a good enough job, are light enough to move around easily and fit in most anywhere. The only thing to remember is not to crank up the old high power stereo receiver too much.

Nothing wrong with it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Turned out the amp was defective and so I returned the speakers and bought a Home Theater System. As a result I never listened to these speakers, but the new ones rock!

Not the best effort from Polk Audio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As much as it pains me to say, I was disappointed in the sound of the T15s. I had originally bought two pairs on sale from BestBuy. I'm a fan of Polk Audio, and I already owned the Monitor 40s, Monitor 70s, and PSW10 subwoofer and love them all. I bought the T15s for a second, smaller system, and was driving them with a late 90's Sony AV receiver, in stereo mode. Doing an A/B comparison between one pair of T15s and a pair of Infinity P152s (also with a 5 1/4" woofer), the Polks were comparatively lacking in low end, and had a much smaller soundstage. Some like to say that speakers sound "bigger" than they are--the Polks sound as small as they are. They reminded me sonically of a cheap boombox I had in junior high in the mid '80s. They will fill a room with sound if some volume is applied, but they are not a speaker that I would want to spend hours with. Maybe they might have improved with longer break-in, or maybe it was the amplification, but right out of the box, after spending a few hours of listening, I disliked them enough to pack them back up for return. I have since bought a pair of Monitor 30s and find them to be much better suited for music listening.

Cheap, but not enough clarity for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On sale for $49 a pair is about right for these, but the sound isn't good enough for me to keep. The sound is muffled, there is no clarity, there is no high end. I compared to a couple of older bookshelf speakers (cheap also that I've modified) at home and they couldn't beat them. Was hoping they'd sound better but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

Ok for Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want ok $59 speakers and your expectations are reasonable then these are decent . Will they fill a room like the classic minimus 7's ? , Not even close ! We use ours with a personal pc and have them drivin with a Technics 50 watt amp and equalizer.

I don't get it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these on sale for $50 but they simply don't sound good. I didn't expect much low end from a small speaker but I found these to be unpleasantly honky in the midrange.

Not good enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Polk bookshelfs. Returned these and went with the klipsch. The polks just didnt sound good enough to keep. A good price does not make them sound any better.

These were decent speakers, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these speakers as side speakers for my home theater system. I purchased these, T15s in August, 2016. Unfortunately one of the speakers was defective. I'm returning the set and may repurchase them. I might give these speakers another shot. I just hate taking the time to return stuff. I would rather purchase and forget about it for ten or more years...The T15s were very good speakers with significant bass output...But, Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to Best Buy I go...
