They can easily handle 100 watts. Great value for the price. Sounds as good as the big brand over-priced speakers. Pair them with a subwoofer and you're as good as gold.

We purchased the front speakers for our bedroom audio system. The Geek Squad Rep. came to our home and installed the front speakers. He suggested trying out the Polk speakers for complete surround sound effects. We got bowled over when the playback was done from our TV and new amplifier in the room. We told him that he couldn't leave until we kept the Polk rear speakers and the purchase was completed almost instantly. We are now loving it and enjoying al aspects of video and audio in the room. Go Geek!!!

I was looking for speakers to put in the kitchen . I didn't want anything big these were just the right size for the job. I'm very pleased with the sound they give off also.

I bought these after having walked into an open box offer which was great! About 50% off. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them playing on my system. I am no audiophile. I can say that they are very clear speakers in the mid and high range. The bass is not strong, so whether or not you find them exceptable depends on the music that you listen to. I had a set of sonos 5s which definitely produced more bass, but not the clarity. To put it differently I can hear everything being played on the drums in classic rock and roll - hi hat, crash and all other extensions of the drum(some I never really noticed existed before) are very clear but the bass is weak. I personally like this, and I think it is something that makes these polls a great buy!

These speakers sound great. Can play very loud without distortion. Like most small speakers they really need a subwoofer to fill in the bass. Using these as the front speakers in a 5.1 surround system. Subwoofer is a BIC F12 from BB online that also works great.

Excellent value speaker, very good speaker for the price. I use as my front stage on my surround set up in my apartment. Not to overwhelming that it disturbs my neighbors but great definition and musical presence.

Nice, not that compact, but not excessively large either, bookshelf speakers. Decent sound, good value for a bedroom speaker.

Small efficient bookshelf speakers produce solid sound at a good price. There are better speakers out there but I purchased these because 1) they are small 2) they were about $100 for the pair.

Purchased for Polk name. These speakers didn't disappoint. Using with vintage(1977) Nikko amp. A bargain at $70 per pair.

Nice small 2way speaker I used them to replace the cheap wireless rear speakers on my lg sound bar and they made a big improvement took up little more space great sound small footprint highly recommended if you can get a sale price

So these speakers sound better then I thought they would because of the low price for them but I must say I was surprised at how well they sounded both low and high volume. Great base sound

I've had these for about three months and I love them. for the price you aren't going to find another pair of speakers at this quality. I might go and get another set for a secondary receiver.
