Noticed these speakers on clearance, great sound for the price as rears

Flat dull sound when compared to full sized hi Fi speakers in the $1,500 range. Pretty good sound for bookshelf though. They need about 10 watts or higher to sound good

The set of speakers are in our Morning Room. They are fantastic for the size and truly provide a sound similar to larger speakers.

Cant beat the price when on sale and works good with surround system.

This is paired with the low cost Insignia. I was hoping to get a better vocal out of this. However did not got that kind of response from my vinyl. digital audio output is above average. At per with my little pricy Sony speakers. Wait and buy only during thanksgiving. It will be discounted at that time.

Bought this to replaced the speakers that came with my mini component. They are sturdy and loud. Great price, great sound.

Great value for the cost clear sound for a bargain price.

My previous set up speakers were not very loud when I had my amp's volume turned up. I decide to buy these speakers while they were on sale. The specification of these speakers show they have decent sensitivity - better than my previous pair. Sure enough - these speakers get much louder than my original speakers. They also produce decent sound for their size and price point. For me - they accomplished what I intended for them when I bought them - so 5 stars...

I bought the pair to use with my 5.1 Yamaha receiver to finish out our movie experience. They sound great especially for the price. Great choice.

Speaker sound great and also has good bass. Perfect for front or back surround sounds or for just stereo bookshelf speakers.

We purchased the Polk Audio Bookshelf Speakers because we are familiar with the long standing quality of Polk speakers. we specifically did not purchase more powerful and coincidently more expensive speakers because our living space is about 900 square feet, and the living room where we have our audio equipment is less than half of that space. The sound from the speakers, coupled to a small Sony receiver, is outstanding.

I bought these speakers to replace my Onkyo speakers that came with the receiver, and have so far been really happy with them in my set up. I used these speakers to replace my surround channels in my theater. The first night I had these set up, I watched a movie with a car crash that came from the side, and it scared myself and my fiance with how close and crisp it sounded. I highly recommend these speakers to those who want better speakers without breaking a budget. I plan to get two more and replace my rear surround speakers soon.

For what they are (entry level book shelf speakers), they are very good. Yes, you can find better, and they will cost you 10 times the amount of money. Construction is solid, the highs are crisp, and the mids are solid. There should not really be ANY expectation of any serious bass from these, but what little it has, it does a good job with. For $49.99 for a PAIR (on sale) they cannot be beat, and although they cannot compete with Definitive Technology or Bowers and Wilkins, they beat the pants off of ANY surround sound tiny speakers you may find in any of those "surround sound in a box" systems, or with use in a very small apartment as your main speakers with a subwoofer tucked away somewhere..
