I came into these at 50 dollars and hooked them up and saw that the sound was a little off playing different songs. did some adjustments using the bass and treble on the amp and it got better. adjusted the mids up a bit on my EQ in the computer and boom it was perfect sound that sounded crisp clear and very well balanced. Gaming and music have gone LEAPS above any computer speaker system I have ever owned. Heavy and feels like they are of higher quality build. Would highly recommend

The speakers are very cheap for the quality. The pair sound very nice.

We purchased the Polk Audio Bookshelf Speakers because we are familiar with the long standing quality of Polk speakers. we specifically did not purchase more powerful and coincidently more expensive speakers because our living space is about 900 square feet, and the living room where we have our audio equipment is less than half of that space. The sound from the speakers, coupled to a small Sony receiver, is outstanding.

The set of speakers are in our Morning Room. They are fantastic for the size and truly provide a sound similar to larger speakers.

My previous set up speakers were not very loud when I had my amp's volume turned up. I decide to buy these speakers while they were on sale. The specification of these speakers show they have decent sensitivity - better than my previous pair. Sure enough - these speakers get much louder than my original speakers. They also produce decent sound for their size and price point. For me - they accomplished what I intended for them when I bought them - so 5 stars...

Bought this to replaced the speakers that came with my mini component. They are sturdy and loud. Great price, great sound.

This is paired with the low cost Insignia. I was hoping to get a better vocal out of this. However did not got that kind of response from my vinyl. digital audio output is above average. At per with my little pricy Sony speakers. Wait and buy only during thanksgiving. It will be discounted at that time.

Great speakers have a crisp sound to to them. Can be played loud with no issues what so ever.

Certainly appreciate the quality of construction and the substantial weight of the units. As a pair of quality speakers, the price is reasonable. My main reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that they are weak on base response, by design, as they are really for use in a minimum 2.1 system and need a woofer to compliment them. Because of space limitations, I chose this set to use when testing restoration of 70's era stereo and quadriphonic systems. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.
