short money for a reasonable pair of rear speakers

Got these on sale at $59.95 for the pair and they work out perfectly as rear speakers in my 5.1 computer audio setup.

These speakers are perfect for some uses. I give it 5 stars because when you get these for $60 on sale, you can't beat the quality per price ratio. Yeah, they don't have the same sound as harmon-kardon or definitive technology, or for that matter, the Klipsch speakers that sit right next to them on the shelves at Best Buy. But for using them as surround sound rear speakers in my small living room, they pack plenty of punch for a small space and with the right balance settings with my receiver, they work perfectly with the three channels I have in the front. From a tech side, don't get caught up with the Watts. They will work as with most entry - mid range consumer receivers. They have a decent bass response level for their size. In summary: If you're looking for high-quality sound, spend more money. If you're looking for halfway decent speakers at a really good price, these are the ones for you.

Overall for a budget minded individual these T15 speakers are a great purchase for a small room that's 100 square feet (10 x 10). If your looking to fit the bill in the lows/mids/highs then these are ok. If you really want deep base get a subwoofer & for the mids & lows expect to pay $300 & upwards as your willing to shell out. They do nicely as surround speakers and can be used as front speakers, though think budget minded if doing so.

The price was right when I bought these speakers. I needed smaller size and these fit the bill. A little o the bassy side but I use them now for surround speakers.

hooked'em up to my TV. Front left and right on the stereo surround sound system. They sound great and look great.

Set up these speakers in the living room as an addition to other speakers I had. Quality sound, crisp and good range. For the price, you can't beat these speakers.

A tad larger than I expected. Getting them mounted took some problem-solving. I have these set up as my L&R surround, which is a bit overkill. On their own these are great speakers and would kill it as stereo or front L&R channels. I had to MacGuyver a bracket from some old Ikea curtain rod holders to get these on my Sanus speaker stands, but the effort was worth it.

I've been very happy with my Polk Audio TSi 300 L/R, CS 20 center, and PSW125 subwoofer, so I got these to replace some cheap speakers I was using for the rear channels. I have a fairly picky ear (I don't enjoy low-fi sound) and I really like these speakers, though I can't compare to others. For the price, they're great. They would probably be fine as the 2-channel or 2.1 L/R speakers in a dorm or bedroom, but they're probably not powerful enough for front channel speakers in a living room. For best results, of course, calibrate your surround sound speakers.

I bought these speakers looking for a small bookshelf speaker and it just what I needed. The sound quality is excellent and it was very easy to set up . I definitely would recommend these speakers.

these are great speakers, good lows and mids for older audio devices like record players or reel to reel!
