I picked these up as an open box impulse buy. I already have the full Polk TSX system as my default home theater go-to but, knowing how high-quality Polk products are, I had to grab these. Ultimately, I decided to use these in another room as wireless "Zone 2" speakers off my main system. As expected, they sound-and look-terrific.

    Decent little bookshelf speakers

Probably the best value for small bookshelf speakers, purchased for my teenager. For the price and size, don't expect too much, and of course no deep base. The high frequencies sound good, a bit flat sounding overall, but again, at this price point it's a good value. Paired with a small subwoofer, I think it'd be a nice little setup. For quality/power reference I'm using a Dennon receiver with these so I have good quality power for my experience.

Nice speakers, especially for the price I paid for them. Nothing spectacular, but worked well for the small room I have them in.

I used these as front speakers as I am tight on space. The sound is clear but not mind blowing like floor speakers would be. The ability to mount these is also incredibly handy and semi rare on bookshelf speakers. I got them on sale for ~$60, not sure I would pay more for them.

I upgraded from 5.1 to 7.2 with these Polk bookshelf speakers & I cannot be more happier. I usually run all Yamaha & was simply intrigued by the name & sale price point of these Polk. They're not powerful enough in my opinion to be my main back surround speakers, but they perfectly do the trick as side surround. I love them.

Ridiculous value got on sale for 69$ to replace an older pair of Sony speakers. give them a little break in time after about two weeks they really opened up an came into their own. Like I said if you get these on sale there's nothing else close to the sound quality at The price point.

I initially purchased these because of the price. They're good speakers but the S15 are better for front speakers. I'm using these as surround and they are solid. I bought the S15 for front now I have an all Polk speaker setup and couldn't be happier

I got these speakers to put into my office. I do a lot of audio work and they go great with a receiver but the only downfall to these speakers is the bass. So you need to have a subwoofer to go along with these speakers.

As for as bookshelf speakers go these are mellow and smooth In Their response. If you are looking for a softer laidback sound these speakers are a good choice. The highs are rounded off and soft the mids are punchy and have a nice to timber That complements the vocal midrange For both make and female vocals. The bass rolls off quickly so a sub is necessity for HT and bass heavy tracks. These speakers have a definite Japanese sound to them quality yet warm and smooth suited to jazz and chill tracks. If you are looking for a Bright American presentation go for a pair of Klipsch That are much more forward in their high range presentation. I am over all happy with these speakers. I have them In an all Polk 5.1 set up for my TV room Paired with a Yamaha 5.1am. I have binged watched several Netflix Style shows with no listening fatigue. I have a full home theater set up with all Klipsch speakers for movies In a dedicated Atmos calibrated Room. The Polks in that respect are Lacking but for $100 or so dollars and for Netflix streaming there polks are right on the Money 5 stars for value 3.5 stars for preformance In comparison to a Detonated HT 4.5 stars for a stand alone system also check out Elacs the new compare. Enjoy your hunt there is. I no perfect system or Speaker just what is perfect for you. Go with wHat is best for you and your ears. Listen to many choose Only one.
