For small bookshelf speakers, these have a wonderful sound. I put these in a 3.1 TV system and they work really well - so well, in fact, I bought another pair to upgrade the system to a 5.1 system! And, the price was amazing! I caught them on sale and spent under $50 on each set. I highly recommend them.

Overall sound is very good have some bass but are best paired with subwoofer.

Replaced huge speakers with these bookcase size! Sounds good & does not take up so much room!

For an introductory priced set of speakers, these little Polks sound much bigger and more expensive.

very compatible sound quality in conjunction with Polk sound bar for samsung TV. i have this system set up with surround sound, comprised of a sound bar, 2 polk bookshelf speakers, a 3 speaker center speaker, 2 bose rear speakers, along with a polk sub-woofer.

Very nice speakers especially for the price I am using them as rear channel speakers works and performs very well.

Speakers are little bigger then I thought they would be. They do sound awesome thought with my surround sound setup. They do come with some generic mounting brackets but if you want to mount and aim them you will need to buy other brackets. Otherwise they sound really good. Money well spent.

These were open-box speakers and they were practically brand new. They are great entry-level speakers. TV, movies, and music all sound decent. They don't come with wires though. I had to get them separately to hook them to the receiver. Not bad, I would definitely recommend them.

After I purchased a new 7.1 AVR, I decided to replace some older cheaper surround speakers. The difference was amazing. Blue Ray discs utilize the surround speakers a lot and these speakers do an amazing job of playing those sounds.. They thoroughly compliment the center and big front speakers I'm glad I purchased them.

I still have a pair of the original Advent speakers that were purchased at the Sound of Music store in Roseville, Minnesota. Then the tornado came in 1981 and the rest is history. These speakers don't quite have the bass of the Advents, but why would they? They are approximately one-fourth the size. But the sound is good enough for my current needs and the Advents are too bulky anyway.

This is a very good bookshelf speaker even thou I am upgrading my speakers and I will move these speakers to another location in my system. They are two great speakers sound quality is very good I would recommend this to any one starting out on a system.

Store associate was so helpful to us while picking our speakers. He gave us all the info we needed to choose these.
