I bought these speakers to be used as surround speakers since they have a wide soundstage making them perfect for surround sound speakers They sound better off axis so its better set them above ear level.

Excellent speakers. We added them to our current stereo system that already had speakers & they really add to the stereo experience. Good name brand.

I purchase the speakers just to test an amp and was very happy with the way they sounded two speakers and a bass speaker they sound great and look good too great speaker for the price

I was looking for a small pair of bookshelf speakers. I spotted these Polk Audio speakers at Best Buy and decided to give them a try. Although I wished that they were smaller, I was pleasantly pleased from the sound quality that came out these speakers.

I’m picky on sound. If you want the best bang for your buck here you go. Listen to a speaker you want then listen to these. I was gonna buy Sony then listened to these. My eyes have been open ever since.

Extremely happy with this purchase and product. These speakers sound great. I was surprised at the quality of the sound compared to other Polk Audios I have purchased in the past.

So I see these are quite highly reviewed. I tried a pair and they are just Meh. Output is lacking especially compared to my B&W 605 S2. Yes, I know, it’s completely different level of speaker but we are talking the same size woofer, same size tweeter and just about the same power handling. For all the reviews that say “I can’t believe the amount of bass these things have”, please do yourself a favor and go demo a pair of quality bookshelf speakers like the B&Ws and then reevaluate your reviews. I guess for the price point the are fair but definitely not great

Cant beat the sound and quality and price from these bookshelves speakers i use them as a rear setup and they sound great for small home or apartment cant go wrong with these happy with my purchase

,,, very much. They are extremely good sounding. Got them to replace a couple of older speakers I had hooked to a Harmon Kardon system. The improvement was delightful enough to consider replacing a few more before they lose a spider or voice coil - or pick up dust or over-extend and lock out. Great sound, ... but how can you lose with HK???

These are really nice speakers. I tried them out, but will continue to use my old speakers until they conk out. Or, I might just go ahead and use these new Polks and let that be that.

I have been using a pair of these as bedroom speakers for quite some time now, and recently purchased another pair to use as ‘presence’ speakers in the living room. Very pleased.

Great speakers for the size. I have always had good luck with Polk and these have been great. In fact one accidentally fell from the wall mount and it suffered no damage.

Good bookshelf speakers sounds great for the price I wish the sensitivity was higher in order to get them to play at the correct level when I added them to my Klipsch speakers I had to bump up the height channel level to even out sound just a heads-up but overall good speakers

I already have a 5.1 polk system and turned it into a 7.1 by buying these. they just fill in the back and I can't hear them much. however i only payed $69 for the pair new in the box. This is an excellent value and I don't think any bookshelves under $150 a pair are better than these

Compact, well designed and esthetically nice bookshelf speakers. Deep and clean bass response as well as excellent mid to high range frequency response. Highs that you can clearly hear without distortion.

I bought these to be used as a surround speaker in my basement home theater. They sound fairly decent, obviously not to the level of clarity you would find in the Signature series speaker but they are fairly clear and carry sound as a good surround. Only advice I would really give is give them plenty of power.

Bought these on sale with the center as well. Budget 3.0 systems are much better than TV speakers. If you're into audio, you'll eventually buy more but if you just want some clarity these will serve you well.

Got 4 of these and they sound great in a 7.1 setup with my Sony receiver. Would definitely recommend for a good budget setup paired with an Nvidia shield that can produce all the sound codecs.
