I purchase these as rear channels for my onkyo tx-nr626 receiver and they sound excellent! Crystal clear sound and great response throughout all frequencies.

These speakers sound really good. I have them paired with a Polk 10 inch subwoofer. It is run through my computer and receiver. Also a very good price for Polk.

I am really enjoying these speakers. I bought them to replace some old broken speakers in a vintage console, which I also replaced the turntable. They pair nicely with my Onkyo amp & bluetooth Onkyo subwoofer. Great purchase to start building a sound system.

I have a spare Onkyo 6-series receiver and a spare Denon DVD player. Wanted an inexpensive set of bookshelf speakers to listen to music at a new place I am gutting and fixing up. The onkyo typically puts out decent sound, but these speakers sound flat and boxy. Good volume, but they lack high frequency content as well as a full transparent sound. For about the same price, I would recommend the more versatile Insignia powered speakers, direct from a CD/DVD player.

The Polk Bookshelf Speakers do a fine job in our 900 square foot combined living dining area. Sound quality is satisfactory although probably not up to an audiophile's standards.
