It is a great gps and I like the fact that it shows ur speed when using it. It is very detail when it comes to making the turns whether it is right or left. It wil detour away from construction sites

This mount was exactly what I needed/was looking for... I have an older Garmin Nuvi and the original mount broke. I had been using a "base" that I had to practically superglue to my dash (which I hated) and the mount still kept popping off. This base is moldable and fits perfectly on my dash and is one piece - the ball socket is attached and my GPS just clicks it and I can move both the GPS and the base - I want to get one for my husbands vehicle next.....

This mount works great with my Garmin GPS. Easily bendable and stays put on the dash.

I debated which base th purchase for the Garmin GPS I got my wife for Christmas. I chose this one. We took it on our extended trip through Florida and it worked like a charm! Never flinched, not even with the Garmin attached. I whole-heartedly recommend this base for anyone with a Garmin GPS unit. You won't regret it.

This does a good job of holding the GPS on the dashboard of our car. However, you do have to make sure the dashboard is clean before you place this on top. We also use the piece of plastic film that came with it on the base when it is not in use. this helps keep the mount clean. Just hope we never lose this film....

Works like advertised. Had no complaints with the 6.9 GPS used. The mount sticks to the dashboard very well.

I have a $5 gift card I need to spend, and my old friction mount was sliding all over my dashboard. This item completely eliminated that problem. Will buy another one for my other vehicle.

Maybe a little big. But it is very stable. Holds the Garmin perfectly in place without sliding.

It was easy to install and works great. It stays were you put it, doesn’t move when driving.

I love it, it is very sta ble sits on my dash and doesn't move around, I just wish a few more phone holders clipped on to it. Wouldn't trade it for anything as far as holding my Garmin.

Got this as a Christmas present to go with my gps. Adjusts well to fit the dash, and grips.

Its an outstanding dryer. It has all the different settings that I need.it runs really quite,does an outstanding job of removing all the lint and the cat hair from my shirt. we have some petsCats and dogs.

This works pretty well. No more sliding off the dash. A little more than I cared to pay for it though.

This is the perfect devise to hold a GPS in a car with challenging dash space. I was so tired of the GPS falling off my window because of heat on the glass. This was the answer. Highly recommend!

I found this on clearance and bought it on impulse. I'd been trying to find a way to mount the Garmin GPS on the dash, as the windshield is too far away on our CR-V (as it is on most cars these days) and there's nothing a suction cup will stick to (like most cars these days). This mount sits pretty much anywhere and is very adjustable, and most importantly, very stable.

Garmin - Portable Auto Friction Mount keeps my Garmin stable and easy to re position for optimal viewing.

Instead of using the mount on the dash (which had too much glare and distracting background) it was used between the two front seats by laying it in one of the trays. The base was flexible and contoured to the opening. The backing was NOT taken off and it was NOT attached permanently. This way the whole unit was taken out of the vehicle and taken in the house until the next time it will be needed.

This product has been a godsend. Since we bought it, this is all we use. Never use the windshield mount that came with the Garmin. The Garmin dashboard mount is much better.

This dashboard mount for a Garmin GPS unit does the job it was designed for. It holds the unit in place, and can be adjusted or moved as necessary. A small complaint: it's a one-size-fits-all device and doesn't attach firmly to the dashboard, which allows the GPS unit to vibrate a bit from time to time. This is not a deal-breaker, though; it is a good solution to the problem of keeping the unit where it's supposed to be.

I like the GPS dah mount, but it is just a little too long for the area I have to place it in-wish had one just a little shorter in length
