Other GPS mounts not only leave a residue on your dash or windshield, they tend to fall off when you least expect it. This mount can be used in cars other than your own - especially great for use in rental cars. It packs easily in carry-on luggage, and stays where you put it. Especially easy to tuck entire GPS and mount out of sight of thieves and vandals when parking your vehicle.

I is able to hold up the Garmin with no troubles, it did slip to the side a little when I made a sharp turn, but the Garmin was able to stay upright and visible.

I bought this BPS holder since I used to stick it to the windshield and got saliva all over the window. YUCK! Then, if it got too hot or too cold, the entire GPS would come crashing down. Now is sits comfortably on the dash and is very easy to read. I love this thing!

Unit stays firm on dash, very trim so it does not look so bulky and looks good.

Good base, did not slide around. was able take it down and put out of site to detour thief. Helped to put in line of sight without turning head to look at the Garmin.

Bought this with a discount coupon to try it out and it actually worked great on my dash. I took it on a road trip to use with my Garmin and it stayed in place where I put it for over 1200 miles. Keep the base sticky part clean; you can wash dirt, lint etc off with plain water and then pat dry with a lint free towel, or let air dry. I keep it wrapped up in the plastic when I'm not using it. Happy I bought it!

Works pretty good. Stays in place. Can be moved from one car to another.

I bought this to use with my old GPS. The suction cup that fastened the Garmin to the window broke. This is soooo much better. Easy to see, yet it doesn't obstruct the view. Great purchase.

I was very suspicious that this would work only to find it does. I have the bulky bean bag mount and this is a much improved mount for my Garmin. So far so good.

I upgraded pads from the Insignia tablet for school. I've had this for about two weeks now and love it. The Samsung is such a joy to use. It's easier to use the keyboard, has a sturdier feel to it and overall is a major step up. The only thing is this is a smaller screen, but that does not bother me. I use this for email and general browsing. I still use the Insignia for gps only b/c it's a bigger screen.

Pad sits flat and stable on the dashboard. Mounts and unmounts the Garmin with ease.

Gets large Garmin units off the windshield and closer to the driver on the dash. May pose some adhesion problems.

This Garmin Mount does what it says it will. I thought it would slide around and be useless. I was wrong. It stays in place in a Chevy Silverado, a Roush Mustang and a 911. The Sport Chrono gauge keeps it in place. Of course if you go hard into corners it will move, but if you are driving that way, navigation would not be high on your list. Buy it on sale and it is worth triple what you will pay.
