    I also have the mount that has the beanbag bottom. The portable one much more convenient if packing to take somewhere.

    Try not to remove the GPS too often, the ball and socket get loose after a while. I try not to remove GPS at all.

    Overall I am satisfied with the purchase. I do think it was a bit expensive and had I not been in immediate need of a mount I probably would have shopped around for something more reasonably priced. To its merit though it does keep the GPS securely in place, at a good viewing angle and I have had no problems.
