My dash is NOT flat, so it wobbles. I don't like leaving the gps in sight or in the sun, so the sticky bottom is a real pain. I'll keep looking for a weighted mount (like I had with my TomTom as that worked perfectly).

However, I found that the base may be too small. Its footprint is very narrow and would easily bounce around when I was taking a turn in my car. I had to return it for another Gamin mount with a larger base.

The GPS mount really wouldn't work even though the base is flexible. We also didn't like the idea of affixing the mount to the dash with the adhesive. If we ever buy another mount, we'll look for the type they have a car rentals.
