Followed the directions repeatedly, and never held. 5 times both it and my Garmin went flying off my dash. Just a total waste of money. I use the windshield mount for my Garmin.

It slides out of place. If I take it down and put it on the seat or floor, the tacky side picks up debris, dust, etc. and it becomes less tacky.

A few friends who've seen it also like it and said they want to get one for themself. The GPS snaps right on. It can sit on the dashboard or sometimes I put it on my console and it stays put. It can mold to any location and the rubber bottom keeps the GPS in place. It never falls off and easy to move it from place to place.

There are alternatives beside the suction cup; we also offer a portable friction mount that allows the nüvi to be mounted to a gripping sandbag that lays out over the dash without sliding around. Thank you for your time and for the review.
