This guy is to big and bulky - I guess ok if you have a huge dashboard but must do not

I never bought this please advise is someone is using my account

I have a storage compartment in the middle of my dash which is right where this needed to go.

I cannot get it to stay on my dash. It appears to be adhered, but seconds later falls off.

Looks good in the car as long as stays in place, keeps falling down, not holding well.

this just does not work at all! I tried it in two cars and it never stuck.

Won't stay on the dash, hard to get clipped into the GPS.

Bought this for the looks over other Garmin choices. Had it for over a year now. Was using the GPS on this mount when a car ran a red light and hit me in the rear of the car at over 45mph. I spun180 degrees, slammed into the median, and no kidding, the GPS was still on, and THE MOUNT WAS IN THE SAME PLACE ON THE DASH! DIDN'T MOVE! It was awesome. (Not the car accident, the performance of the mount). All turned out very well (except for the damage to my car :) VERY happy with this purchase. Bottom doesn't get ruined with everyday dust in car. Doesn't ruin dash. Taking it on and off and switching it b/w my and my husband's car doesn't reduce the consistency of the base and the firm planting it does on the dash. VERY happy.

This product works as advertised, and it makes mounting and dismounting a Garmin GPS an easy task. The quality is what you'd expect from this kind of design, and so far it's satisfied my particular needs. For what you get, $32.00 seems extremely high, but it's one of the better mounts for a Garmin. They need to charge about half of what they do. If you're willing to pay a high price for one, this is a great mount!

I bought this item because the windshield mount kept flying off the glass, and I was afraid my Garmin would get broken. And I am so glad that I bought this new mount. It is heavy, sure, but it sticks well to the dashboard and really stays in place.

I chose this mount because the size of the sandbag mount was much larger and I wanted to be able to store it in my vehicle easily as well as take it with me when I needs to do so. It was very easy to set-up and is easily molded to fit the dashboard. It is very sleek looking and is better than the suction cup because you can bring it closer to you.

I have used this product with my Nuvi 1350 on several trips, and it has really impressed me. You take it out of the package, hook-up you garmin nav system, and mold the product to your dash. From there on the pair stays where you put it. The only way this baby is moving is if your in an accident. I love not having to use the annoying suction cup that comes with the nav system. Great product, nice in quality and craftsmanship.

The suction cup on the GPS unit I have wore out and it kept falling off the windshield. My sister-in-law visited with a rental car that had a mount similar to this one - sort of a bean-bag thing. I found this mount in the store and decided to give it a try. It works great, easy to take up and down, holds the unit just fine and molds to the shape of the dashboard it's on. Very pleased with the purchase.

I have had the beanbag mount for a few years, thought I would give this a try with a new GPS. Seems to work just fine. The bottom is made of a Gumby material that can be molded to fit curves in the dash. The sticky bottom surface grips very well. It does pick up dust & dirt & anything else it touches, but it also (so far) is easy to clean with a drippy-wet sponge followed by a pat dry with a paper towel. I can't comment yet on whether it leaves marks on the dash - none that I've seen, but haven't used it extensively. I would probably say that I prefer the beanbag, but this product works well, no complaints.

We purchased this along with a Garmin nuvi 2595LMT GPS to replace an older Garmin GPS and stand. The stand itself is great- the only thing I don't like is the sticky underside that sits on the dash. I understand it is to help adhere the unit to the dashboard, however when not in use, we like the ability to hide it under the console on the floor. With this unit, I can only imagine the carpet fibers would stick and we have had to find alternate places (on top of dvd cases, etc) to store this in the vehicle on road trips. Other than that minor problem, it's great. It holds the GPS securely and does not slide around on the dashboard.

The friction mount works well. The only problem I found with it was as light weight as it is, the GPS has a very slight shakiness to it with the slightest bump or non perfect road condition. Everything else is wonderful. I did end up exchanging it for a more traditional friction mount after a week of testing. It is great for someone that would not mind a very slight shakiness while driving.
