Wow. The amazing storyline will keep you playing for hours. After playing this you will be looking for places to put portals in real life! What really is the fantastic humor and voice acting. Crazy, babbling Wheatley, is by far the best video game character ever with the best voice acting ever. GLaDOS isn't far behind. A fun game where you think, not just blow peoples brains out with machine guns. The co-op doesn't disappoint either.

First let me say that I am not one of these young game players who live, breath and die by gaming. I am 63 year old female who happens to love gaming. I bought the Orange Box as one of my first X-Box games and got hooked on Valve. Portal was right down my alley. Portal 2 for me rocks beyond belief. I am at chapter 4 which is where the dificulty level kicks in. Portal 2 has many upgrades to Portal. The controls are better and more responsive and situated better. I love the diverse methods of beams, light floors, new cubes etc. to assist you in your getting from one place to the next. I could go on forever about the creative imagery and totally fantastic visual effects. Just go buy the game and enjoy it for what it is. Puzzle game playing at its best.

Portal 2 is awesome and different that your run of the mill First Person Shooters. It's 10,000 years in the future, mankind has perished...all that's left is machines. You are a robot trapped inside a complex run by a maniacal super-computer with a bad attitude. You have a portal gun that allows you to create entrance/exit portals, and you are given puzzles to solve in order to proceed from one level to the next in the game. Some of the puzzles are simple to solve, others are quite elaborate. This is a great game, no violence, just problem solving. Highly recommended.

I'll be brief. This was a hoot! I'm not a huge fan of puzzle games but the humor, graphics and first person perspective made this game a total blast and its longer than I thought it would be. It has some expected but still surprising twists and turns along the way as well. I spent hours on several levels trying to reason out the solutions and once I figured it out it was very satisfying! If you enjoyed the first Portal and you like first person style games I think you will enjoy this a great deal. Valve did a great job!!!

Portal 2 is a mind-bending puzzle game from Valve. You open your mind to a knew way of gaming. You get a portal manipulator device, which you use to create 2 separate rifts in space and time to teleport throughout the map. You essentially just go in one portal, and go out the other. This device along with useful environmental advantages will help you conquer dozens of maps and will have you thinking with portals. Portal 2 is a blend of puzzle game and first person action that will keep you, and now a friend, busy for a while. Maybe there will be Cake this time?

Here's a game you can play with the whole family as you try to solve the more challenging puzzles presented. The Humor of the compute opponent is frankly a great surprise. I play this with my 11 year old daughter - we have fun in co-op mode and assisting each other while we play individually.

Portal 2 was a real treat to play. The puzzles are thought-provoking and deceptively tricky. The addition of "goo" adds a nice dimension to the puzzles - and the addition of a co-op mode really pushed this title over the top. Only a couple of the puzzles were stumpers which makes the game approachable to even the most logically challenged. Even those few that offered a challenge garnered "Aha" moments once the solution was realized. So, while none of the puzzles induced headaches, the entire game was well worth the cost - its more than just a puzzle game, afterall, any time spent with GLaDOS is worth falling down a few pits, getting crushed by large spikey articulated platforms, covered by orange, blue and white goo and suffering verbal abuse, isn't it?

My review is based on the Splitscreen Co-Op mode. My son (10) and I had a BLAST. High 5s, screaming, cheers. It's all there. Fun. Replay may be low, but I'm sure we'll do it again. My Sons review...... best game I've played since halo reach. just to say you really need to brainstorm and work as a team

i enjoyed this game. IF you like strategy type games, play this game. If not, it;s not for you. There many levels that challenge you i unique ways. It's fun but frustrating when you have no idea what to do. But they're little clues to tell you what you have to do.

Portal 2 honestly has to be one of the best games i have ever played in my life. I played almost ever kind of xbox game imaginable but this game definately has a different vibe. Running around shooting at ever thing that moves in COD or HALO gets pretty boring. But Portal 2 is a great way to sit back, have fun and work your brain at the same time. The ending is epic and its a great game

I was a big fan of the original Portal, so I had to give this a try. I had much debate over whether or not to spend $60 on the game because I knew how much use I would get out of it. Anyway, long story short, I bought it, beat it within two days, and haven't picked it up since. I'm told I should play the multi-player mode, I just don't wanna! Can't imagine having to play this game with some tard who keeps messing around and getting killed. The game was fun and had some great challenges. I really enjoyed it........ for 2 days..... You want my opinion? Rent it....

In case you haven't been told recently or often enough, this really is one of the greatest ever invented. If you're a fan of the first-person shooter but miss the old days of puzzle games, this is the most satisfying game I've played in a long time. And it's hilarious. The commentary you get from GLAdOS, Wheatley, and Cave Johnson have you frequently laughing out loud as you stretch your brain to figure out the puzzles. It's just challenging enough to make you feel smart as you complete most levels. Hours of playtime, absolute replay value, and engaging co-op missions earn this game my highest recommendation.

This was one of my favorite games. It has great story with some humor, and really rewarding puzzles. There's even a fun co-op mode to the game!

I've never played any game like Portal 2 (except for the original). Solving the tough puzzles that took a while to figure out really gave me a sense of accomplishment. I played co-op mode with my boyfriend and we were high-fiving each other after every level. The humor of the game had us laughing too. Great game to practice your mental abilities. Only complaint is the game doesn't take too long to beat.

If you have ever played the original Portal, this is a must have. The gameplay and puzzles are challenging and fun. The characters you interact with (Wheatley and GLaDOS) are quirky, funny, and a riot to listen to. I appreciate the fact that the game is not scary or gory, so my children can be in the room while I play.

We play this game as a family at times. My teenager who is very into video games enjoys it a lot, but everyone else can still play and have a good time without boring or frustrating the gamers in the family. The game starts off pretty easy and gets more challenging as you move along.

Excellent game. Graphics are great, fun to play, and love the characters good and bad!

The game is so fun and challenging. The Portal games are a must have. Great for kids 10ish and older. Might be too hard for younger kids. The co-op mode is really good.

My cousins got this game for Christmas, in three days we got through four rounds (great Christmas right ;). Ever since I've been saving up for an Xbox, just got the game and didn't disapoint.

portal the original was one of the funniest games i played i have been waiting for 4 YEARS!!!! for this game. all i can say this game is going to be EPIC
