What prompted me to look for a charging station for PS4 controllers is that I have gone through at least 3 charging cables in the past 3 years. The cables worked well for awhile, but they all inevitably became finicky. The connections to the controller would become worn or damaged, and they would have to rest in a particular way to get them to charge at all, until even that didn't work. So far, this charging station serves my purpose much more reliably. At first it was odd to connect the controller since they have to sit in a certain way, then click down in place to activate the charging station. However, that was easy enough to figure out. I haven't owned it long enough to say if it will suffer from similar problems as the cables over time, but I do expect it to have a much longer lifespan. The only downside is that it can not be used to charge controllers that are in use, which isn't a deal breaker for me. I have multiple controllers, so I can ensure that there is always 1 fully charged if I need to swap it out. In short, I wish I would have looked into this option years ago instead of relying on the cables.

I purchased this charging station when I purchased my PS4 system. So far all works great for me. I don't get to play as much as I would like to. Hopefully one day they will come out with a dual charging station that is powered by a USB port as well as a AC adapter. I have one for my PS3 and love it.

So glad we got this. My son plays his PS4 a lot and can switch between controllers...as one charges, he can use the other. Very easy to use. I only stick with OEM products and Sonyis one of the best.

Easy to put in and charges the remote controls great

The docking station is a great accessory to have for your ps4. The controllers for the ps4 lose power quickly, and the docking station always keeps them charged for me. You can charge your controllers through the ps4 if you leave it in standby mode, but if you like me and don't like to leave your ps4 on when not using it, the docking station is the answer.

This a great must have accessory for your PS5, esecially if you don't want to have to keep charging via the USB cable. Don't use the third party knock offs. OEM is the way to go for this.

Finally purchased this product, after getting tired of the USB ports being occupied to charge controllers. Initially didn't have high hopes but I wasn't expecting this great of a charger... Fast charging capability, will not overcharge batteries, and a must have for anyone with 2+ controllers

This works perfectly. Charging one at a time wasn’t doing us any justice because both kids controllers were never fully charged at the same time. I’m glad I caught the sale price and also had Best Buy rewards so I didn’t pay for this at all. Love it

This has been a great charger for my PS4 controllers. My only complaint is fairly minor in that it's a little bit tricky to get the controller to sit on the charger properly. The main trick is to make sure you release the spring-loaded base when you remove the controller, then it's easier to get the controller back on the charger. If you forget, you'll have to manually release the spring-loaded piece.

Chargers worked great for me. Keeps my two controller topped off and easy to swap out. Best part is it has its own power plug so I don't need to use the USB Port on my PS4. Only downside I've found is sometimes I accidentally turn the PS4 on again when I'm putting the controller in the charging cradle, easy to avoid once you get the hang of it.

This is a very good charger. You do have to take care putting it in and out of the cradle since it is plastic, but it is a good construction. Have had no problems with it.

I like how it lights up to let you know that it is charging . Then the lights turn off when it is done charging.

Saves on batteries!!! They charge quickly. Very happy.

I love this charging station. We have had many over the years and this is the first one that didn't come with unnecessary extra parts that you have to plug into your controller. You literally set it on the charger and push down, you'll hear a click and bam charging. It is amazing and extremely user friendly.

I have purchased 2 of these chargers, one for myself and one for my sister's fiance. I have owned mine since fall of 2015, and have spent many days playing Ps4 and using this to charge my controllers. Simple design and pretty idiot proof, as my young nieces and nephews have yet to break it.
