I keep two controllers plugged into the charging station whenever I'm not playing. They are fully charged in about an hour or so. Great to have since the PS4's controller has a relatively short battery life. And it beats using the very short cord that you could use to plug into the console.

This allowed them to charge through the headphone spot. So i was able to not have to replace those controllers for now.
