I'm sure when it works properly it is great! Ours must have been defective, but upon reading other reviews it seems to be a fairly common defect unfortunately. It took extreme delicacy and focus to get the controllers to sit right on the charger to make a good connection, and we were never able to get both controllers to charge simultaneously. We ended up returning this due to that issue and have stuck to just using a cable and hiding them in the entertainment center. In theory this is a great idea, but it did not work out for us and due to many others having similar issues it was just not worth trying again.

This is okay when the controller is not being used

Got this for my son he says it doesn’t not hold a charge for a very long time.

Good to start off with, but if you have more than 2 controllers.. You might want to look elsewhere.

Had to return first unit as the bottom charge cable was misaligned with plastic casing so it would not reliably charge devices. build quality in general is fairly flimsy. good that it has no annoying status lights, also that can hold dual shocks without being in charge mode if desired. wish it had additional USB ports to charge other PS4 peripherals.

Doesn’t work, don’t waste your money Have to return it.

Had to exchange it after I received a dud. I got the Insignia one instead and prefer that one.

I like the look of it, but the ease of putting the controllers in it leaves a bit to be desired.

bought this thinking it was going to be the best, but I've seen and used better.

I love my PS4 and many of the products they put out but I have to say this one is a big disappointment. First, it feels like it's made very cheaply and is too light to support charging just one controller. Second, it popped my controller out indicating that it was fully charged and the controller actually wasn't. I wouldn't recommend buying

Hard to get controlled positioned on correctly sometimes

It's hard trying to align the controller with the charging dock. And u have to push down to get it to charge. Sometimes it will hit the button that turns on the PS4. Looks pretty cheaply made, I went back to using the USB cord for charging.

This is a good item. I have not tried it yet but my son loves this game system.

Bought just over a year ago and it's already broken. Takes a very steady hand to charge controllers... Definitely not kid friendly from an operation standpoint. Loved it while it worked, but wished I didn't have to replace it already.

Controllers not stay in it as well as you would hope. its ok

Its tough to get the controllers docked. I frequently end up turning the dualshocks on while I'm docking them, then I have to convince the PS4 that I'm not using that controller. It also doesn't have a USB port, so I can't charge my headphones or another dualshock

This charger could be better, it seems to make a connection when it wants to and can stop charging at any time. It isn’t too fun when your controller is dead to go grab what should be a fully charged controller and find it dead too.

Not easy to get controllers to snap into charger. Takes a few attempts

Does not work. Controllers do not stay connected so they fail to charge. Tried multiple times with multiple controllers to engage the charger by all failed to connect without me holding the controller in place.
