The controller clicks down and lights up letting you know it is charging. The less cords you have in your gaming center the better.

No need for extra charging cords laying around. Keeps everything neat and easily accessible. We did have to replace it after four years, because the side we use most often didn't seem to charge as well But overall this gets a lot of use and I thought it was well worth it, so we replaced with the same type of charger. :)

It is simple and keeps the controllers organized and out of the way while charging. However, I didn't care for the spring 'n click docking mechanism. It didn't seem to add anything to the device, and getting the controller lined up right took a little of adjusting to. But it is fairly priced and does what it is supposed to do - charge two controllers simultaneously.
