Good charger
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This charging station uses the EXT (extension) port located next to the headphone jack on the back of the PS4 controller. It produces a faster charge than the USB port and allows two controllers to charge at the same time. You line up the controller (facing inward) with the Ext port and headphone port, press down until it locks, or "clicks" into position. I found this task to be a little clunky at times so 4 stars.

As I could never get the PS4 controller to charge off of a regular plug with a USB port, I was always forced to plug it into the console. Which meant sitting way too close to the TV. Love this item and so far it's working perfectly.

I had a previous charger that needed a charging spacer to charge on their mount. The problem with that is the controllers had to fit perfectly to charge and often times wouldn't. This charger is great the design charges by the ext port and not the USB mini. This gives the controller more stability and you can view if in fact the corollary is charging.

Great charger
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We use to have an Insignia charger but after three years, it stopped working because one of the attachment to the controller was not getting any charge, So we decided to try this charger because it was an official product and needed no other attachment to use for charging. Let me say, it does what it suppose to do and it charges very quickly. We love it and we wouldn’t trade for anything else.

Just plug it in with the included wall adapter to the base. Then just press down on the controller to the slot and u hear the click and it charges you will see the light from the controller and when it doesn’t light up anymore it’s fully charged. Press down again when done to release!
