The nintendo made latches are all metal and are much sturdier.

It is a 3rd party Nintendo authorized product that will stop working correctly after usage. The tracks that the Joycon controllers slide on are plastic and wear out! Don’t waste your money. Spend the extra $$ for a Nintendo stamped product.

The controllers slide in easy and they come flying out just as easy. Press up on the joystick and the controller with come halfway out. Have a kid that like to jump while play, they fly across the room. The original grip that came from Nintendo has absolutely no issues. Buy that one, not this one.
