They turn the two separate controllers into a single controller for those of us that are used to that. The grip is incredibly comfortable and puts all of the buttons and sticks in easy reach of fingers, even for kids.

One of the joy con controllers, on the left side, doesn’t fit very snug. When playing, it has a little loose wiggle to it. It still works, but it’s very noticeable and can be annoying. Love the feel of the grip though, and for the price, even with the one issue, I’d still buy it again.

The switch itself only comes with one of these attachments so if you buy another joy con you will need this to connect them together. Overall a cheap option if you already purchased a second or third additional joy con.
