It's such a hassle having to swap out regular batteries because XBOX controllers eat up batteries like crazy, especially when vibration is on. After having to swap out batteries the first few times, I picked this up instead of buying another pack of AA and I'm glad I did. I also like how it acts as a stand when your controllers don't need charging. No more controllers laying around.
