That charger lasted about 4 months before one section stopped charging and then the other half failed. I have only had this unit for about a month. So far, it does its job and charges my controllers. It feels kind of flimsy and it is an interesting concept that you rest the controller in a little cradle and then push the cradle down to begin charging. Time will tell how long this unit lasts but so far I have no complaints.

However, to use the charger with an elite controller, I need to remove the paddles from the back. The batteries don't hold up for too long if I'm using and Astro A40 headset. They do typically make it through an entire day though. I just have to remember to charge the controller. 1 star ding just for the fact that the elite controller doesn't work without removing parts. If it could accommodate the controller with the paddles attached it would be a 5 Star product.
