I have really liked this charger. It's nice to have the option of charging or not when the controller is on the stand. It helps the batteries last.

Very handy, sure beats the replacing batteries. Green light lets you know when charging is complete.

This item works pretty well. I only have one controller at the moment but it provides a common place to store it. The plastic material is not high-end, vis-a-vis feel quality, but it appears to be durable enough for the long haul. Once you place the controller onto one of the two cradles, just press down on the cradle ledge (not the controller) and the charging starts (Red LED strip means charging, Green means charged). To disconnect from charging, press down on the ledge again and the charging contacts separate. Now you can just let it stay there without trickle charging. At least the rechargeable battery packs (qty 2) are NiMH (1100maH), not Nicads, and the kit includes replacement controller backings so the contacts are exposed for easy charging.

Best investment I've made for video games. Charges 2 controllers at once and has already paid for itself by saving batteries.

We bought this for our boys who are constantly looking for rechargeable batteries for their controllers. Put the controller on the base, push down and when the red light turns green it’s charged. Simple.
