It's nice to not have to change out my batteries all the time, but the batteries included have a much shorter life compared to standard AA batteries. It's best to have two controllers because the batteries die so often that having one charged and ready to go is a necessity. It's also easy to put a controller on the charger without the pins making contact so be sure to check the lights to make sure it's actually charging. Works well enough for me, but I wish there was better self alignment of the controller on the charger.

If you use Xbox controllers, this is a must, for the convenience and ease of just dropping it into place.

Posted .Hi! I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your charging dock. It sounds like the connection between the controller and the dock might not be making proper contact.
Clean the charging contacts on both the controller and the dock with a dry, soft cloth to remove any dust or residue.
Check the alignment and make sure the controller sits firmly and evenly on the dock.
If the LED keeps flashing or you still have to wiggle it to charge, try using a different USB power source or cable to rule out a power issue.

You will always have an extra controller charged. Not really a fan of the back cover since it leave the battery charger exposed, but there is no other way it could work for this type of holder
