The new design takes up less space and makes the controllers more accessible than the previous "back to back" design. The two cons are: - firstly as others have said, the white light for "controllers are charged" is VERY bright. I will be putting opaque tape over it as a diffuser. I would prefer if it turned off after being fully charged for a time, like so many other chargers, - secondly, the battery cartridge you have to put in the controller is a tight squeeze to fit in. Like "did I get the wrong size?" kind of difficult to fit in. I worry that the controller contacts will be permanently bent and wont take normal batteries after this.
