I got it on sale for $5 and for that price it is amazing. But it functions exactly the same as any other wired nintendo controller and is worth its retail price

Bought it on a the month of the November's black Friday sale day and it holding up so far very good. It's a nice alternative controller to be able to use it with the otg cable during handheld gameplay or on the dock usb or like me to keep the joycon's on because of the rails scratching them. So far no drift or anything related that could brake it, no frame drop on them. The wire is pretty long or a usb extender cable will work if its not long enough. Sometimes you could overthink if wired are good, but if you can spend at least $35 for a power a wireless controller with battery then do so to save the hassle, but overall I like it just because it's easy to use without any issues then it being wired.

Better than using the joycons sometimes. After my wife has treatments her hands shake a bit so the joycons were a pain to use. This controller was perfect for her to game on still.

This controller surprised me! It has a nice design with the Legend of Zelda motif but what really got me was the decent quality of the controller. It is both responsive and feels almost as good as the pro controller.

Great controller. Got it on sale. Wasn't sure how often we'd be playing so went wired. I also thought it would be of the type I would use should I end up playing solo and not with my young son/family. But we end up playing two player Mario Kart pretty often with the joycons combined and this as our second controller. Only on occasion have we used the joycons as two separate controllers and this as our third. In time I may acquire a wireless controller, but for now this is a very, very good option. And as I said, because it was on sale, it was a very AFFORDABEL option!

Well made POWERA Kirby switch game wired controller. Great quality, buttons, and stick all feel very nice compared to the regular Joy Cons. Nice if you play docked.

If you don’t mind being plugged in then this is a great controller for the switch. Full size like the pro controller but at a very inexpensive price! All the buttons function and feel great!

Works great, being able to remap 2 buttons to the 2 buttons on the back is amazing for Zelda botw and totk. Great alternative to the wireless pro controllers, only bad thing is that nfc cards and amiibo aren’t compatible

Its very light and the buttons on the controller do not feel responsive at all, truly you should spend the extra couple of bucks to purchase a pro controller

Pro: - Sturdy body - detachable / replaceable usb cable ( I use a flat usb cable to prevent tangles) - Analog sticks are good with small dead spots - I like the color scheme - steam supported (Nintendo pro) - 2 Rear programmable buttons - buttons are decently - Comfort on the hands Con: - Triggers are buttons not pressure sensitive ( must use analog sticks for racing games) - No rumble (not good for modern adventure game like picking locks, treasure locating etc) - d-pad is very simple not recommended for fighting games I personally like the gamepad works great for me and the price range at $15 was good for budget gaming. Good for retro gaming and overall gaming.

I explained to my son that although wireless is convenient sometimes, the fact you gotta charge it and sometimes there's issues with Bluetooth connectivity... well, sometimes wired is just plain BETTER. We mostly use this on our iMac with emulators/ROMs and it works flawlessly. Unlike the wireless pro controller, which sometimes goes out when you least expect it. Or there's input lag. None of this happens with this controller. For the price that Best Buy was offering this, it was a no brainer to purchase it.

The wired controller is great. It has a long cord, therefore, the kids can sit on the couch away from T.V. It works well and matches our Mario Nintendo Switch.

I purchased two of these for my five year old and myself. They work great, and they were very affordable so I'm not worried if my son accidently breaks one. They are very comfortable and fit nicely in the hands. They are very light. The joysticks work well and the buttons are fine, not the best but better than most 3rd party controllers I've used in the past. They also have no motion control which may be required in some cases. These are not elite controllers by any means but if you need an affordable controller these will definitely get the job done.

Picked this up for my kid, works great. Just with kids be careful with the micro USB. Micro USB was not made for klutz or kids as they break SO easy.

It's not my go-to controller, but it's a great controller for that second player ... who won't complain that you gave them an inferior one.

Is a good basic controller, no vibration, cord is a good length but for the price I would rather pay the extra money for a actual Nintendo wireless controller
