Great alternative to "Pro" controller

This one feels like a full size controller without the "Pro" controller cost. I believe it's about $10 cheaper and performs just as well.

Also takes AA batteries instead of being rechargeable, which may or may not be an issue for you. I haven't used the customizable buttons on the back, but I can say I accidentally push them all the time when playing so I'm not sure I would want them mapped to anything. D-Pad is not much of an improvement over the mediocre one on the first party pro controller. Overall though a good cheap alternative. Think of it as a "player two" controller

My wife loves animal crossing the game, now that she have the control, it’s way more familiar for her to play. Absolutely loves it

I like look, also. I dont prefer flashy colors, so I enjoy the grey. I do feel that some of the buttons and knobs seem a bit chincy. They feel and sound a bit cheap for the purchase price.

Testing The Controller

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not gonna lie, this controller is good and fits super well on my hands when I play, but over time, some parts of it began to loosen and not work. Other times, the analog stick’s dead zone would be very wonky and would automatically move my character in-game. I’ve had better controllers, but I wanted to give this model design a try. At this point, I have to take it back since I do have warranty on it, but overall, a pretty good controller.

Best Controller Ever!!

I bought it to play Apex Legends on the Nintendo Switch and using this controller is way better than using the joy cons. Plus the USB cord is very lengthy ideal to charge and play all day.

I have big hands, so not quite ergonomic enough for me and my hands cramp up after a while, but otherwise the buttons are good and responsive.
