I did buy rechargeable batteries. Much cheaper that way. It’s connects to the Switch or even when the switch is connected to the tv.

Few weeks later the pairing was slow or not connecting at all...Finally May'24 the left joy stick just started drifting and is pretty useless now. shoul've just bought a Pro Controller. Cheap feel. Light weight. Cheap quality

I own both the Nintendo Brand and PowerA and yes there is a difference, but for the significant price difference it's worth to go for the PowerA. I do like the programmable buttons on the back of the controller which come in major handy especially in certain games. I definitely would recommend for someone trying to save some money wanting another controller.
