Joycons break far too easily and most other wireless controllers just eat through batteries, which ends up costing a ton more. The rubberized grip, extra programmable buttons and USB-C connection (for recharging or using as a wired controller) make this a real winner. This is the main controller we use for the Switch now, and I will be buying more the next time I need to replace a controller.

Exceeded my expectations and I was a little hesitant but it works great! Has a smooth finish for an easy grip and charges up easily.
