If you want an old and retro vibe I definitely recommend buying this wired one or a wireless one.

It's great for smash and great for other games too if you can get over smash controllers (I have trouble with that myself.)

The controls feel good and it doesn’t feel clunky. It has a cord and can be used for games on the PC as well. I use it now for Star WarS Battlefront 2 (2005) on my PC.

Plugs right into the switch dock via USB or can even be used with emulators on PC. Even has a removable micro usb cable if you want to use a longer one. Perfect for smash or any other compatible game.

Almost like the original for gamecube except the d-pad is larger on this controller, there are 4 trigger buttons, and they're flipped to match Pro Switch controller. Only negative is long distance for bottom triggers to engage.

Its definitely not a high grade controller. Time will tell its longevity, which i dont expect it to be too much.

I like it since it feels like a GameCube controller but its much lighter and much less durable. If you drop it then there's a good chance that its down for the count but what can you expect from a cheap controller
