Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the wireless connectivity, nostalgic feel, and compatibility of the GameCube Style Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch. They appreciate that it resembles the original GameCube controller and works well for playing Super Smash Bros. However, some customers are disappointed by the lack of rumble and the fact that it runs on AA batteries.

Super comfortable to use and I prefer this over joycons and holding a Switch. Works for Switch Lite flawlessly! Keep in mind that the Y and X buttons are swapped, which always throws me off whenever I go back to using the controls on the switch Lite, but you get used to it!

So much nice of button action than any of the other Switch controller options I have tried. I have large hands and every other one gives me terrible cramps after playing for 30+ min, but this one feels great, and no indentation in my finger from mashing down the A button in Mario Kart.

I will be honest, I'm not a top tier player or even a contender, but this controller is great! I just prefer wireless controllers. The reason for the 3 star review is that after about 150 hours of straight Smash, the left analog came loose. It wouldn't return to neutral, so i have to take off 2 stars for that alone. Everything else is great!

The controller feels really well made. I purchases a USB GameCube controller a while ago and it broke quickly. You can really tell the difference between this controller and the USB. It's responsive and accurate. A little expensive but you get what you pay for.

Love the original GameCube controller, so it was my mission to pick this purple one up. Love it! The form, buttons, and look is a nostalgia trip and perfect for something like Breath Of The Wild. It does run on standard AA batteries, but that's fine for me.

Love everything about this controller, perfect for smash, but works in other games too! Only real gripe i have is the placement of the plus and minus buttons isn’t the best, but I can live with it. The sticks and buttons feel very responsive and clicky and much better than my 15 year old GameCube controllers.

It feels a little cheap, and it could never replace an original gamecube controller made by nintendo, but it works, sort of. I usually get them, start playing with it, and after a couple of months, let's say 4, joystick drift presents itself. After that, I just turn the controller in to the store and get a new one. If you play smash, you know exactly why this is a problem. I've used an original gamecube controller made by nintendo since before ultimate came out, and after 4 years it still works wonders, in fact, I've used OG gamecube controllers before (Over a decade old) that work much better than this one. The OG's might be expensive and hard to get, but you only need one.

Works great, basically a "lite" version of the original Wavebird. Very cool controller, very comfortable in your hands, and it's built very well. Of course the main draw for it is using it for Smash Brothers, and it works perfect for that as well. On top of that, it's a good price!

These are a must have for any smash bros players out there! The only other thing i would suggest is to use the dpad on this for games like pac man 99 versus the switch pro dpad. I feel it responds better than the pro dpad!
