Got the controller as a Secret Santa present for my Santee. He totally loved it, especially since it was on his personal wishlist. So glad I got it at the price it was matched with on Amazon, and I didn’t have to worry about shipping costs as a last minute gift.

The PowerA Gamecube Wireless Controller provided standard gameplay capabilities for the first three months I used it, averaging around 2-3 hours per day. It was around the four month mark where I started noticing it having slight input delay issues that increased as time went on. I only sit three feet away from my Switch when using it. Eventually the delays became so frequent and so severe I had to reset the controller sync once or twice each time I was using it. The nail in the coffin was when the B-button stopped working entirely shortly after the delay issues, which I attribute to poor durability on the product's part. Long story short, it's okay for playing games casually. But since it's obvious that you're going to be playing Smash with this, avoid purchasing this product if you desire to play in competitive environments or online at all.

This is a great controller and the only way to play Smash Bros on the Switch.

Arguably the best controller for the Nintendo Switch? We're you a gamecube kid like me that thought the Gamecube Controller was perfect? Welp, if you are in that group and/or enjoy Super Smash Brothers, I highly recommend!!

If you have arthritis, or you're a gamer who struggles with the close set buttons on the Switch's joy cons, then this is the controller you need! I love it and I can play for hours without my hands hurting.

The controller does feel great to hold and use, the buttons feel good as well. The issue I had was latency. My controllers (I purchased two), kept disconnecting from the switch if I was more than 5 feet from the console, I would bless a button and the action wouldn’t occur until at least 2 seconds later.

Good little wireless controller. People say there’s latency issues, but I’ve never noticed it. Feels good and the batteries last a while. Only thing that’s not great is the battery plate, feels like you’re breaking it when taking it off. Connecting it to the switch can also kinda be a pain.

Nostalgia lovers, feels great playing switch game with a game cube controller, smaller than I remembered but may be better like this

I biught this controller for Smash bros. It works so much better than than the joy cons. If your controller does not sync, make sure you have updated your Switch firmware. There is a note right inside the battery compartment but you may still dismiss it.

Great controller feels great but shoulder buttons are a little deep but i got a 2nd one recently and the shoulder press travel is shorter and better so maybe it was just an older model thing either way great controller responsive feels great

I like the set up of this controller and takes me back to playing GameCube with my mom. I feel that it does help with smash but it isn’t needed. The downside is that it takes batteries instead of charging but I can live with it.

I was skeptical, but this Gamecube style controller for the Switch is fantastic, especially for old school gamers. Fluid and familiar layout, and fantastic response time. Big fan, and a must buy for the recently converting to Switch!

I'm an avid smash brothers fan and the slightest but of latency can cause a big issue. This controller has a slight delay. If you're a casual player, this controller is nice, however, if you're a hardcore smash player, I would suggest sticking to a wired controller.

It’s one of those Nostalgia things?! Takes me back to my childhood, those Nintendo GameCube days. I love to controller it’s the color I wanted back in the day?! But my dad bought me the Black.

The only thing its missing is the NFC reader. For the price I would actually recommend this over Nintendo's official Pro Controller. Even if you don't care about the face that it looks like a Gamecube controller its just good value for money.

All plastic. Does not have a rumble feature onboard

I love this controller. I got it at my grandsons recommendation to play on the Switch with him. It's easy to use and it's very comfortable to hold.
