Excellent controller. It doesn't feel very close to the original gamecube controller or wavebird, like I expected, but it's still good. Functionally, it's essentially a pro controller with a different button configuration but feels MUCH better. Overall, completely worth picking up.

Just like good old times, this controller is easy to use & if you played games on the Nintendo Gamecube from the past, you'll have an easy time interacting with the feeling with this controller. I love this controller for an advanced gaming console like the Nintendo Switch.

Gives you the functionality of a GameCube controller but without having to use the USB adapter plus you get all the additional features of the joy on controllers. Easy screenshot button and home button on the remote. Uses 2x double A batteries however the remote comes with some!

Yes! Any fans of Super Smash Bros on the Gamecube will definitely enjoy this. I ultimately settled on a wireless and sacrificed response time, but I'm not a pro so I don't notice it all. Unfortunately it requires batteries. This was definitely a missed opportunity to make it rechargeable and add the USB for wired gaming.

When I was looking into controllers, I was kind of skeptical when it came to this specific controller. I had heard all of the bad reviews about how the controller breaks, or experiences the "Nintendo drift". But, I had purchased this controller at a retail price of $49.99, and I have no complaints. I was lucky enough to even tack on the warranty for 2 years for just $2.99. So not only was it cheaper to buy, but even if it does "break", I will be able to jsut get it replaced, all for under the original retail price at other stores. Best Buy is fair with their customers who have a membership with them. So for the price and inclusion of warranty for under original said price, you are guaranteed confidence in your buy. As a college student, who needs to make good economical investments, this one is a good buy.

I needed something for gaming to go along with my 65 inch Samsung. My old wire setup just didn’t work as good. Now I can sit farther back from the tv for viewing.

Ive always been a huge fan of the Gamecube Controller. Have played with it since day 1 and feel this is the best modernized ergonomical wireless gamecube controller out there lag is minimal. Also side note love the weight to it. But that's just my personal opinion.

I love having the Gamecube Controller for the Switch. It has made playing Smashbros so much easier as I am more familiar with the Gamecube layout. This was a great purchase, and I am very glad that I made it.

this controller is really cool and feels just like the old gamecube controller. the only thing I don't like is that it takes batteries. I thought in the world of today were basically done with batteries being necessary for controllers, but what are you gonna do?

I bought this controller to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and it works just like an old Gamecube controller, and works well for other games as well. Over time, it can develop stick drift, so I suggest getting warranty.

It works well but it feels a bit...rough, blocky, I have the original GC controller and it's smooth and easy to use. This one my wrist started hurting, u have to button smash the controls to really break it in. After a few rounds it's pretty good, still feels off but other than that it gets the job done.

I was skeptical of it at first because it does not come from Nintendo themselves, but the build quality feels very nice, very responsive and easy to pair while steel keeping that nostalgic feel, would definitely recommend !

Exactly the same look and feel as the classic GameCube controller, only wireless. Be sure to turn it off when not in use, it definitely sucks down batteries quick. Not a big deal if you have rechargeable batteries.

This is a classic controller for those who grew up playing on the GameCube. However, the quality compared to those old-school wired controllers isn't even in the same ballpark. I still have, and use my wired controllers on the switch with the converter option. However, I have yet to have a new Nintendo controller that lasts longer than a year with moderate playing time. The left analog issues aren't limited to the joycons as we all know, and these controllers aren't able to update or be recalibrated easily at all. Save some money and get the extended warranty so you can get a replacement controller cheaper than having to rebuy in a year. Nintendo, seriously, get the controller issues fixed already!

Nothing beats the classic remote for super smash Bros anyone knows that, I also was a little worried about spending 50$ on a remote for one game. but I actually use it on a ton of titles feeling alot better then the standard crapcons and pro remotes.

I’ve had a switch since a few months after launch and never got the pro controller, was going to give in and get one on those holiday sales until I saw this thing on the shelf. Loving it so far, no drift.
